i had no pain at all. just tightess across chest and ribs at first and stiffness in shoulders. couldnt really lift arms at first as then it felt like little jabs in sides of boobs. days 2 and 3 were worst, after that got better, by day 5 felt pretty good could do quite abit, by day 8 was doing all normal things again without even the slightest twinge.

my boyfriend had to help dress me and brush my hair etc first 3 days then was fine so id say 4/5 days would be enough.

im 1 of the lucky ones though thats had it easy, i know some of the girls have suffered more than me x x

In all honestly, I havent really been in pain! I’m day 4 post op and only took one lot of painkillers this morning. The tightness is still there and one of my incisions is a bit tender to touch but otherwise fine.

I thought I’d be in a lot more pain then this! It’s never been unbearable pain. I took three days off work and I’m returning tomorrow.

I had overs. I’d imagine unders would hurt a lot more for some reason? X

I’m booked in for mine in July and it’s when my hubby is on his two weeks off …. I’ll have to lift my baby to bed etc after these two weeks just hoping I’ll be ok for that xx

You’ll be fine. I’m able to put my daughter (one year old) in her cot just fine and I’m 4 days post op. I’m still not carrying her etc just yet, I probably could but don’t want to risk it. You should be fine after 2 weeks :) x

Haha Chezzies – It’s true though, I was expected to be in an unreal amount of pain but it’s been a breeze so far. I’m a proper wimp when it comes to pain and suffering but it’s been fine! :D

IN FACT, the only thing that pains me the most is not being able to cuddle my baby properly! :(
