When should my incisions stop hurting?

Hey lovely ladies!

I’m 10 days PO and feeling ok except for my incisions. It’s not major pain but it’s stingy and itchy. I’ve still got the dressings on as I don’t have a nurse check for another week (due to my holiday).

I’ve got to return to work next week and I’m worried I won’t be healed enough (I’ve got a very physical job) xx

hi lovely i also had my plasters on 4 10days and the plasters were soo itchy!! my incisions stopped hurting around day 7/8. they incisions have been pulled around alot the fit the implant in so they will be sore 4 a while.as long as u don’t have a temperature i doubt u will have a infection, maybe u cud ring nurse 4 reassurance.

i work as a health care ast and work 12hour shifts i went bk yesterday and i felt so shattered i just took it slow and did’nt do any hoisting or anything. how long have u had off wrk? if u dont feel ok 2 go bk 2 wrk maybe u could go sick 4 a few days x

Try to take it easy, don’t work too hard!

By the time I go back I would’ve had 2 weeks off, I’m self employed so can’t afford to take anymore time off

I’m 11 days po mine still sting n are itchy I had my steri strips off them yesturday. I Think its normal to sting n itch for a while sign of healing xx
