when to get post op bra?

hiya all, i like to extra prepare myself, i wanderd when would you buy a post op bra? is it once you have had your 10day post op check? x

I have mine and im pre op hun, has surgeon said you don’t need to wear one or anything? xx

Well most surgeons recommend starting to wear one straight away, or after your 7 days check if you have surgical tape on x

I bought one 2 or 3 days after, I had my MaCom ready before the op but bought an ASDA post surgery bra just to wear while the MaCom was being washed. ASDA bra’s are super comfy, the macom irritates my nipples alot and it’s nice to just chuck the ASDA one on now and again xxx

P.S I was told to wear my MaCom soon as I came from the hosp, I had plasters not tape though.

thanx girls, he hasnt said anything about it, i am pre op but i havent a clue what size i would be after, and does it have to be a post op bra or can you just get sports bras?

ladies who have macom bras are they any good? theyr quite dear arent they?

Yeah they’re like £35 but it’s a small price to pay if it’s to take care of ur new assets!

I don’t wear mine as much through the day anymore, I prefer the lonsdale sports bra as it’s easier to wear with normal clothes but still wear my macom to bed or if im not leaving the house x

ok thanx lisadd, does the bra help with swelling and things? would you say they are comfy to? xx

I love my Macom xx wore it on the way home from BA.

Got some post surgery bras from Asda but so far loving my macom x

Yeah I found my macom really comfy! It’s good with the swelling because it has expandable cups so u only need one rather than a normal sports bra which might not fit after the swelling has went down or vice versa xx
