When to go back to work after Unders?

Im hoping to have Unders on the 20th of April. I’ve booked 2 weeks off work but unsure If it will be long enough? I’m a postwoman lol so my jobs obviously a lot of walking and arm movements. Will I be okay or should I book longer off?

I’m 1 week and 5 days post op today
I had 460cc uhp unders
I’m not going back to work until at least 3 weeks post op I work as a carer for the elderly in a care home
So my job involves lifting the elderly into wheel chairs etc and bathing or showering them I’m just hoping 3 weeks is enough time for that I shouldn’t be lifting really even at 3 weeks post op so I’ll have to make sure someone is there to help me

Congrats on you boobies! How’s the pain been so far? I’m hoping 2 weeks will be enough as I don’t think I can afford to have much more off. Il just have to take my time and not push myself I think.

The pain was terrible for the first say 4 or 5 days and each day after that it got better but still sore if that makes sense it’s not as bad as it was in those first few days
I get shooting pains through my boobs which is normal when you have a breast argumentation so don’t worry if you feel that
So far I love my new boobs
Personally I think 2 weeks is more then enough for you as long as your not doing too much heavy lifting if your just walking and posting letters etc then I think you would be fine to go back then ☺️xx

Hey Jade, I had Unders and took 4 weeks off, I’m cabin crew so requires a lot of arm movement too, I was a little wary at first but I think you’ll need at least 3/4 weeks if it involves heavy lifting etc x
