when to stop taking pill

I always thought it was two weeks before and two weeks after that you couldn’t take it for some reason but read in my stuff today that it’s 4 weeks before, hadn’t been on it since summer but been dating a boy now for a few month so thought I’d take a months supply before and it will finish around 3 weeks before but not sure now whether or not this will be ok? I’m on yasmin, what actually is the reason why you have to stop? I’m sure I’ve heard some girls stay on it but I’m not planning on doing this. Thanks girls xxx

two weeks before and after hun, as it thins your blood, and does something else, not sure what though xx

I was told two weeks before op x

I had my Op Dec 2010 and didnt need to stop taking the pill at all. There are no medical reasons confirmed why you have to do this… apparently it depends on your surgeon.

Like with the strapping you wear afterwards… some surgeons make you wear it, others dont. xx
