When will actually be able to go….

I’m 6 days post op n still haven’t done a poo! tried different laxatives n even the ones you have to pop up your bum

I’ve stopped taking the co codimol but still nothing. Just making me feel sicky n hurting my stomach now

I’m in same boat as you Hun I’m 6 days po had no bowel movements stopped pain killers and had laxitives but still no joy I look preggers I’m that bloated xx

girls i have crohns disease and not having any bowel movements for me is very dangerous and could land me in hospital. so i have been all over this since i came out of hospital. i was using lactolose (think thats how u spell it) from day1 and taking senna tablets. i finally had a horrific bowel movement day 4. make sure you are drinking your body weight in water and eating fibre & fresh fruit this should help xx

I didn’t poop till day 4…i ate loads of bran flakes…it worked.

I wasnt as bad as i thought i would be went every other day instead of every day but i didnt take to many co dyromal a day as i took the other ones they gave me but im still really bloated want my belly to go down it makes my boobs look smaller lol!xx

I know mercedes it is horrible isnt it but i have just managed to go and feel like i have lost a stone in weight but I know I haven’t got rid of it all as still a tab bloated! Wasn’t as easy as I’d thought considering how many laxatives I had been pumping into my body! hope you manage to go hun as i know how uncomfortable you are felling hunni Charlie your comment bout your boobs looking smaller made me laugh!! But is true though! Xx

Haha sorry girls I did have to laugh at this.. I’m going to be in the same boat soon.. Well when my other half came out of hospital they said he may be constipated so to eat loads of green veg apparently it helps .. Worth a try I suppose also prune juice (if that’s how u spell it) xx

Oh no Mercedes feel so sorry for you hun! just think how good you will feel after you go just thought of something you could try I remember this once I ate a whole pot of breath mints and it went straight through me maybe this may work as it does say on the pack if you consume to many they can act as a laxative I’m going to try this to clear me right out as it worked for me before and also strawberries and sugar are a good one! Why could I not think of these last week hah it’s ok emz it is a very funny ! The things we go through to have our new boobies aye ladies xx

i went 9 whole days….i was so windy, it was awful! In 6 whole years of being with my hubby ive never farted but the last week I was terrible! God…the things we do!!! Ended up with a really hot curry just to move m bowels…sounds awful but I it was the only thing to work! x Hope you feel better soon! x

That’s terrible!! I’m day 6 too and went on day 2 as I was warned by my surgeon this can happen so took 2x senna at night and I’m fine. What about a hot water bottle that gets things moving normally. Xxx
