when you go for consultation with surgeon what happens??

just wandering what happens when you go..whats said etc x

I had mine 2 days ago. From my experience with another clinic they talked me through the procedure and type of implants. Then he measured my chest & how much tissue I had, he then decided whether they would be overs or unders. The nurse put a support bra on me and inserted two sizes of implant so I could see what they looked like and decide between the two sizes. After that they took me to see a consultant who booked it in for me (if I wanted to of course). I’m guessing some clinics are different but must be similar in approach. Good luck!

hi cb, i had mr adamo just over a year ago. he is wonderful! my boobs are so natural and my scars are so neat. he will talk through why you want the op, then he takes 3d measurements of your boobs which helps him get an idea of what size you can have, then he talks about implants. he gave me two sizes to choose from and i tried them on. then he goes through risks etc… he is so nice – you will love him xxxxx

oops forgot to say…. i was a 32a now and am a 32c or d now depending on where I get my bras x

3d measurements whats that?? xx

basically they measure lots of different things which gives him like a 3d measurement of your chest so he can pick the implants xxx

I was suprised actually. I thought I was a 32B cup but he measured me and said I was an 32A. All the other measurements were cms… like the length of nipple to my chest muscle, length of bone near my neck to my boobs etc…. the nurse wrote them all down. I didn’t understand much of the measuring size but it was how he determinded what implants I could have.

It wasn’t at all embarrassing for me letting him measure… he must see hundreds of boobs! Plus after having two children & crohns disease all embarrassment goes outta the window anyway lol x
