I live in bristol so i suppose i’d have to get the train or coach. does anyone know the area where the surgery with mya takes place; highgate OR hamp stead? x

Angel my consultation is in Bristol on the 18th of June and the operation itself will be in Highgate. Definately do not drive LOL!! Are you staying in overnight? I have opted for to be a day case but that isn’t 100% confirmed as yet.

I am sure we will be given directions. You can probably get the train and then tubes easy enough. Will anyone be travelling back with you?? When is your op?

Ok so I have just been doing a little bit of research. To get to the Highgate hospital you ‘could’ follow this journey plan:

Bristol to London Paddington – get the Bakerloo line (brown line) towards the elephant & castle.

    – Get off at ‘Embankment’ and then take the Northern Line (black line) towards High Barnet.

    – You can then either; Get off at HIGHGATE and get a cab to the hospital or

Get off at EAST FINCHLEY STATION and get the bus 143 from stop G (towards Archway Station) and get off on View Road which is where the hospital is.

Hope this helps. I am now going to look at some hotels close by. x

    Oh really.

Well to be fair after my first op I travelled back on my own via the courtesy car provided by the clinic and it wasn’t too bad, I could hardly put the seatbelt on though!!
