WHERE TO GO FOR A BRA FITTING WITHOUT HAVING TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT??

Hi girls, I’m off to Leeds on Saturday for my 6 week check with the nurse and am hoping she says I’m ok to wear bras I want to go into Leeds afterwards and get a measuring, anyone know where I can just walk in to without having an appointment? Debenhams is one place apparently, but can anyone suggest any ther places too?

Oh right, I thought you needed an appointment for M&S?! I’ll give it a go I guess! Ive heard La Senza isn’t that accurate too. Might try Boux Ave coz I’ve heard good things about there fitting service.

M&s is just walk in everywhere iv been. Iv found la senza to be the best at fitting, have me in the same size at boux ave, but anywhere else have been pants, with M&s saying I’m a 36c without even measuring me! Xx

Oh godddddd, now I’m confused as someone else said La Senza was crap!! I think I’m just gonna have to go in them all and see! Least I no now that I can pretty much walk in them all xx

I think it depends on the area, as loads say M&s was brill, but to look at someone and say 36c, and walk out was rude! I’m a 32f/30ff never been a 36 in my life! And I know my boobs look small, but they are fake, so measure bigger, daft woman didn’t even come back and measure me xx

debenhams was the best she actually looked at my boobs in my bra, measured me, kept bringing new bras to try, m&s was very good too! no appointments needed

ann summers was crap she looked at me while i had my top on and a SPORTS BRA under that, said “u look about a D cup” then walked away! well i couldnt even fit my nipples in a D cup bra lol.. so was la senza she didnt have a clue what she was doing, but that might of been the girls workin ther at the time not all shops!! x

I went to Debenhams and Ann Summers in Leeds. Both measured me at the same size. Don’t think there is a Boux Ave in Leeds yet though is there? xx

Thanks girls, and no Holly, I just looked if there was a Boux Ave and there isn’t and Ayshababy, that’s shocking about Ann summers! How rude. Anyone can see you BLATENTLY look more than a D!

I found M&S good although re woman said I was a C !! like aysha baby I had top and Macon on when I got them out she was like oooo haha ! I’m measuring a 36E/F although if I want ten looking a bit fake I wear a DD haha xx

Yeah, that’s what I want to Leah, one bra in a smaller size to what I’m measured for that ‘fake’ look then get the rest in the right size for everyday wear

This may be a stupid question but do you girls take your bra off to get measured? Or do it over the bra you are wearing? Never been measured before until recent and the woman measured me over my Macom then when I got home the bra was quite tight cos my Macom squashes me in abit!! Did she measure me wrong? X

they usually wait outside for you to try the bras on then come in, i got fed up and just said they can stay in! lol!

ginag84, good luck wiht the bra buying! la senza were good to me, measured me properly then told me they wont be stocking my size! so wasnt any use to me at all, better luck for you if you measure a dd! they only have limited stock of over dd cups as not stocking them anymore. LOSERS!

debanhams have been my fave and never been able to walk in m&s, must be my bad luck, they were really cross when i decided to try a bra anyway and ask for their assistance! had to apoint to the sign that ‘if you require any assistance, just ask’ i did, they was not impressed! haha!

I cant imagine trying to squeeze mine into a smaller bra! @ayshababy, where do you get your bras from? your a similar size to me???..

@whayley, it was a bit silly of the woman to measure you whilst wearing a compression bra, i would take a guess that your bra is definately too small! take back and get re-measured without the macom! xx
