Post Op Bra's!?!?

Hello lovely ladies,

My upcoming surgery is looming! Eeeeeek. 5 weeks to go!
Just starting to get prepared. Firstly, post op bra’s! I was originally going to go with the MYA brand, though I have a friend that says not to bother and that she used the twin pack front zip ones from Asda. I’m worried that these will be too cheap and ineffective? I’ve also seen a few posts in the past mentioning M&S post op bra’s. What are your thoughts?

I’m having uplift and BA in 3 weeks. With the amount of money I’m paying for the procedure I’d hate to buy a rubbish bra and my results be compromised.
I’ve bought a signature macom to wear for the majority and going to buy a cheap one just to have on whilst I wash my macom for a couple of hours. I’ve heard the m & s ones are good but known a couple of girls who have said the band rubbed on their incisions and macoms are far more comfortable.

Also I decided against the MYA bras as they didn’t feel as supportive as the compression bras and also didn’t like the fact they aren’t front fastening. Didn’t fancy trying to do it up at the back after an uplift! Lol x

I’ve taken your advice and just researched signature macom, they even look comfy! Did you order yours online? I just have absolutely no idea what size to buy as of yet. I’m going for 350/375cc.
And I absolutely will not even attempt to wear a non front fastening bra!!!! Ha.

id say go with the macom (signature or ultimate, though i have the ultimate) and then i use the M&S whilst sleeping as they’re softer/comfier and I use the hospitalbra my surgeon recommended me in between, and overall i am so glad I had 3 bras… having one is just too difficult eventually youll get lazy with washing also it gets a bit depressing seeing and being in the same bra every single day and for 6 weeks that is a long time lol. i also felt i got out the best from the 3 bras and each has their pros and cons i believe. will try to find my detailed reply to a post on this topic where i explain what those are and give you more of an idea, but if not any other questions you may have please ask… i spend over a year constantly researching on this so the end result are these 3 bras, and id highly recommend each xxx

I have a macom signature and x2 M&S High impacts. Typically M&S have just had a sale and were selling some for £15! gutted i missed them xx
