who can go with you

silly qustion but can my partner come with me for my op and if i have to have an over night stay will he have to leave or can he stay with me x

Hi, my partner and my daughter came with me and stayed all day with me but i was a day case. i don’t think your partner will be able to stay overnight though. What hospital are you at?

im dont know yet got my 1st consultation on tues just trying to find out as much as i can lol x

birmingham and yes very excited now was very nervous to start with but with the advise from the girls on here has been great closer it gets more i want it to hurry up lol x

my boyfriend and 4 year old stayed all day from 8am- 9pm ( i had low blood pressure) i had option to stay overnight as i was unwell but they wud of had to leave then xxx

the time flies by, i remember counting down from like week 6 and now here i am propped up with my fella doing just about everything for me, its great, i can see a massive ironing pile and i don’t have to do it xx

thats good nice to be waited on us girls love it dont we lol xx

Kd I hope mine is the same, very much doubt he’ll do the ironing though – it’s more than likely he’ll pay someone to do it lol x

Oh and in response to the initial question, partners etc can go with you but have to leave at a certain time if staying in as overnight, different hospitals wil vary, but I’m sure there will be plenty of nearby hotels they can stay at if necessary…. Also bear in mind it’s about 400 extra if staying in as an overnighter, whereas nearby hotels for both of you will be far cheaper x
