Who can i get a sick note off ? Pc surgeon or nurse ?x

My college want a note to say i wont be able to come in after my op, who do i ask ?xx

I asked my pc this question and as I work in an office and may only need 1 week off work, my pc said that I can self cert but if your college want one then I would ask your pc to see if the surgeon can give you one… if that’s not sucessful go to your gp you’ll get one from there x

For clarity:

I am 9 months post op now – MYA do not provide a sicknote, Mr Traynor wrote me a surgeons letter stating I had had breast surgery, it is not a sicknote. I had to contact my GP for a sicknote xx

thanks girls, its ok now my tutor said just bring in a letter with the date of surgery and thatll be fine x
