Who's booked their op for July/August, or later????

Just wondered if anyones booked that far in advance?

I asked my PC if any dates where available, and she said not yet!

But i’m sure ive read that a few girls have managed to book??

I haven’t yet but I’m wanting to book may/June and I’ve seen on here girls that have booked further than that in advance X

I want to book mine end of May/beginning of June, but I dont think I will have all of my deposit until that point… would I have to call them as soon as I have my deposit and take a late space?

I really hope they will let me just call up once I have my deposit and let me take a late space at the beginning of June… that would be nice

I really am getting ahead of myself though, I haven’t even had my first consultation with MYA yet and I doubt I will even be accepted for the 0% interest free finance option, although the finance team said I shouldn’t really have a problem. But I have heard that they use First Medical, and they can be quite harsh with who they choose, and they can mess you about quite a bit as well.

Ha! But it is very exciting stuff!! I wouldn’t know about the finance side chick. I got declined from Mya’s own finance last November- so hoping to have the money by July/ August now!

Ah I’m sorry to hear they didn’t accept you! Would you mind telling me why? I am just freaking out because I’ve spoken to a few girls who have good credit history etc and they have been declined for the finance, and I’m worried it will happen to me and I just really don’t have the patience to save up all of the money for my ba. I think it would be the end of me! Lol.

I have spoken to MYA’s finance team, and they told me I shouldn’t have a problem getting the 0% interest free finance option, but it is just a rough guide and they can’t promise anything!

I initially applied for the full amount and they said id need a gaurentor. So then I applied for only £2000 and got accepted! I think ur much more likely to get accepted if ur putting a large deposit down. Gd luck!xx

Did you just save up for the rest of the money yourself in the end then?

I think I can save between £1000-£1500 by my desired operation date (beginning of June) soooo hopefully I will be eligible for the loan if I put that sort of deposit down.

Yeh,i saved about 500 each month for 3 months and have just been living skint!lol.xx

Yeah I will have some good money by the end of May, but I am and will be living skint until I have paid it all off!! Ha!! Let’s just hope it’s all worth it in the end… and I don’t end up wanting another one! Lol.

It would be nice to pay a £2000 deposit, the monthly repayments would be lovely! But I will actually have NO money leftover in my bank account!! Haha.

Yeh,my monthly payments r going to be £166. Not too bad. Next year when its paid off i’l feel rich!xx

Hopefully my boss will offer me more hours come summer, as I only work 3 1/2 days a week, which isn’t great but it’s all he will offer at the moment

Ahhh lucky! I have heard great things about Dr Kazzazi… but unfortunately I don’t think he takes consultations at the Bristol clinic! Boohoo!

I got declined as my credit rating wasn’t the best! So do not fret! If yours is good, then it shouldn’t be a problem!

Thats good what Thunderkiss said about borrowing less!

Lets all ring the Bristol clinic and beg that we want Mr Singh to come down to Bristol for us!! He could potentially get 3 or 4 of us straight away!! ha!
