No its honestly fine! You feel them putting needle in ur arm and gas mask on and i dnt remember a thing after that! Just remember waking up and talked to the nurse for about 15 minutes till i came round then she took me bk to my room. I was a bit scared walking to theatre but anaesthaetists are very friendly :) x

    Hi,

I know that I haven’t had a BA, but theatre is NOT scary at all. I was so calm! Team were brilliant. The whole time I was in hospital there whe lots of women coming in for BAs and all seemed well. You will be fine

Hi I am 9 days post op and I had a panic on and it did not help as I was on my own! The theatre staff were all chatty I had a good nose around the theatre as they put they sleep in theatre table! I had cannula put in and it was uncomfy and they were chatty , making kokes and making me feel completely at ease! I then got knocked out at 08:55am i felt the liquid going up me arm to my throat and then i looked at the ceiling closed eyes, jolted myself awake looked at the ceiling and then bang OUT COLD!! I then woke up feeling very cold and my teeth were knocking together! all good
