Ooh, I told everyone. Saying that, I have told people that are friends and family, and let it be known that as it’s no secret I am not bothered who knows really. I have had great responses from everyone. I figured that it will notice afterwards so I’d rather people knew in advance than stare and discuss it behind my back (can’t imagine anyone asking me to my face if my boobs were like that before lol!). Often if you are open and up front about things people don’t have anything to talk about and they get bored v quickly. That’s my theory anyway!
I guess it does depend on where you work tho and the people there, I am starting a new job soon so by the time I get there no-one will have known me pre-op, so I doubt it would even come up. Girls can be very bitchy and jealous, so if they wouldn’t notice then don’t mention it to them.
You’ve got to do whatever is comfortable for you though. The more people you tell the more word gets around. I had botox a couple of months ago and told a few people I worked with, it wasn’t a secret or anything, but when I went out last night it was the talk of the pub with people who I bbarely knew. So word does get around!
