Wht would happen if you got a cold/cough/sore throat near op can u still hve it?

Hya girls just wondering what would happen if you had a cold would op b postponed? Or is it only of you’ve been really poorly? Thank xxx

im not sure but i know they put a tube down ur throat so if the cold was bad enough it might be posponed! not 10% sure though x

Apparently only if u have a “full blown cold” they will postpone it.. If u got a bit of a sore throat or “sniffles” then it should be fine, as long as u don’t have a temperature. X x

Phew I’m fine been to work ALL day on a split shift just got a runny nose and cough saw mario yesterday and he didn’t mention anything I’m just panicking as can’t wait and can’t believe it’s eventually my turn are uvprevor post op hun? Xxx

I had cold cough sore throat n sniffles mine didn’t get postponed nurse said to ne aslong as I wasn’t rly ill and had temp I shud b fine n I was x

I’m only about 17 hours post op lol x
