    anyone else seem really bloated after their b.a .. or is it just me .. my belly is massive .. thought it might of been a side effect or the painkillers or something , but doesnt say anything about it on the leaflet :S .. its taking the shine away from the new boobs lol, i do not approve :P x

    its normal hun, its the painkillers, it last a few days, once you ease of the painkillers it should go down, make sure you drink plenty of water, i also got constipated from the tablets xx

    hehe iv been on my best behaviour food wise cos sat at home doing nothing would be so easy to just raid the fridge , so releived to hear that it is the painkillers .. iv been starting to panic lol .. thought blody hell im not eating bad stuff and look at me lol … id heard they make you constipated but not bloated , cheers girls x

    mine took about a week, i took laxatives from day 3 through too day 6 and i was fine after that, i made sure i drank loads of water and went on lots of small walks which helped xx

    I feel your pain girls, I had my op Monday and I’m huge :( fed up, walking round feeling like a pufferfish with 2 rocks stuck on my chest ha ha xx

    Im the same girlies and ive not been taking my painkiller for about 3days now! Its going down slowley but surely. I dont think my boobs want to be notice as they blended in with my tummy before ba and now my tummy blends in with the it looks to big for my liking!ha!xxx

    I can be a combination of things ladies, the GA,which can stay in your system a while,also the meds,but in general,because you are resting everything has slowed down,as soon as you start to resume normal activities it will start to improve,it does get better honest,xxx

    @ Tina , so this is totally normal? It’s so uncomfortable and gives me major aces in my stomach , I hope this goes away

    shes means have you been for a number 2 lol, and cali it is totally normal to feel bloated after your opp, it was the worst part for me and the only thing i had pain from, painless boobs but horrendous bloated pains lol xx

    I agree with you 100 percent of that my Boobie pain is nothing compared to this horrendous stomach pains , that’s you though for a kind responses hope somthing happens today haha

    omg i had a dodgy reaction now to the painkillers and got a rash all on my shoulders and where my bra strap has been , noooooooooooo had to get an emergency app at the docs this morn as i was worried about my scars :( .. so im off everything .. and tummy already seems a little bit better x

    so if i didnt take any of the perscribed medication and just took bog standard pain killers after my op can i stop myself gettin this bloated belly that everyone seems to get?x

    Megagray111 – I think it can be caused by the GA too, not just your post op meds. I’m suffering and Im taking paracetamol, antibiotics and diclaphenic(if that’s how you spell it) which is an anti inflammatory , these were all what the doc at the hospital prescribed me xx
