why hasnt my question been answered!

I have sent mya mod a pm nerly 2 hours ago n also replied to a post on the topic mod posted erlier had no reply! Ill repeat my question, has any male members of staff (apart from my surgeon who obvs has seen my boobs) had access to my pictures wether they r mods or marketing staff?

Totally agree girls, I’m sure in another thread the things I have asked have been referred to as crap at the end of the day I wouldn’t walk round the street wif my boobs out for random people to c especially nt men so I dnt actually care if people think its a big deal or not to me it is n from the support of lots of lovely ladies I’ve had it matters to them to, xxx

after reading all this stuff iv deleted all my pics from here. it takes the piss really that anyone can view our private pics. iv got some password protected on sofem but mya ones, all gone now xx

Apparently mod sed that they need to run sum cheks to c if they can answer me !! Wot cheks all I’ve asked is if 1. Any male staff members have access to our pics on here 2. Wether r pms r only accesible by the members sending or receiving and 3. R posts by us printed n put into our files at clinic! What cud they possibly be cheking n why is it takin so long xx

The pictures on this forum are not the kind men are looking for.. there are plenty of sites out there for that! Whether a MYA staff member is male or female, gay or straight, has nothing to do with how professional they are. I’m sure all of them have far better things to do than look at your pictures.

Relax, or take your pics down and then you won’t have anything to worry about.

Its about mre than the pictures I have asked 3 specific questions which mod is completely ignorin like I sed each to their own on how they feel about people seein there pics like I sed yday if people dnt like wot I’m askin mod then dnt read it! And clearly from all the lovely girls that r supporting me I’m nt the only one wantin answers I think its more about the fact we have clearly been lied to.

Also the only people that shud have access to pics r the people we accept as friends the same as pms we should have control of who sees what wen its so personal, like on facebook u wouldn’t let random people u dnt know start lookin through pics n info would u!

If you’re that concerned just take your pics down until you know for sure. But really, there are worse things in life to worry about. Continually posting about it just makes more work for the moderator who then can’t get to ANYBODY’S questions x

Sorry new boobies but of you are fine about people you don’t know having access to your pics then that’s down to you. Other people are not comfortable with the thought of that, n I don’t blame them. Like its said above. If it doesn’t concern you then don’t read or comment. Go concentrate on these ‘bigger’ issues you mentioned.

Well said newboobies. Before all this came to ‘light’, which it all seems daft to me anyways, you weren’t fused about posting pics. If you have them set to friends only, only friends can see them, if your unsure of who your friends are, delete them, or don’t post pics.

The amount of males that think ‘ooh there’s a plastic surgery forum, let’s pleasure ourselves if there’s pics of boobs’ is very limited. If there is male members working in the tech team with the mod, so be it, IT is generally a male role (my dad works as a techie for the police in Cumbria, and he has one female in his team out of five different stations), so the likelihood of a male reading and editing posts is high, but it doesn’t stop them being professional, and they are just doing their jobs, what they are paid to do. Do you think your surgeons thinks anything other then ‘it’s another set of boobs to operate on’

The problem is the mod is on alot of peoples friends lists meaning they can see your pictures 🙄 I dont see whats so hard to grasp here…..Lots of self respecting women that may be in relationships dont want some other bloke looking at her boobs. Theres alot of pretty girls on here with pics of them in lingerie….my god theyre allowed to be bothered about it

I think if males have access to people’s pics, whether they are a part of MYA or not, people should have been made aware. Then members could make an informed decision about uploading pics. As it stands, a simple question has been asked. This question has not been answered and I don’t think you can blame girls for getting pissed off. It’s easy to say ‘if you’re that concerned, remove them’. Perhaps they were happy to have CHOSEN members view their pics. It’s people who can see them, that the owner of the pics doesn’t know about that is causing the concern.

MYA MOD already confirmed that she is female. I’ll find the post and bump it, it may help to put a few girls minds at rest x

MYA Moderator here and I am most definitely female. At MYA we only have one moderator to ensure continuity as opinion can be very subjective. I am part of a small marketing team and our team leader and technical support is male and one of a minority of males within a business that is dominated by females. Our main aim is to help people throughout their MYA journey but also to ensure that the spirit of the forum is maintained. We do not have any MYA staff who pose as patients, but sometimes MYA staff who have had a procedure do go on the forum to offer support and to receive support. What we don’t do is have members of staff fabricating situations for MYA’s gain. Our greatest supporters are our patients who in the main have had an amazing experience with us. You will know from your contact with them whether or not they are genuine. Our business could not have grown without us offering a genuine quality service and we are glad that this naturally shines through on our forum.

We don’t always get things right and that was one of the main reasons for us launching the forum so that we can get real patient feedback. For those regular users of the website it will be obvious that our site flows naturally with the aim of learning from any mistakes and constantly aiming to improve MYA.

We welcome any thoughts and feedback about our forum and are looking to launch a focus group. In the coming weeks we will ask people to nominate themselves to be part of this process. We would like to think that those who participate will get a true understanding of how patient focussed we are.

Why does the mod need to be friends with people,he/she is the mod here to moderate and police the forum,to be honest I think the mod adding friends could lead to favouritism,male or female the mod should keep their relationship professional,its all so bizarre.I can only assume who ever designed this whole set up is probably barely out of school,as some one with experience would already know this.No wonder the company is asking for feed back they want some ideas on how to run the show as its obviously not working,and they should pay some attention to the speed of this forum,so slow and god forbid if you need urgent answers or to edit your post, its much quicker,everyone if you see a thread,post your answer via pm,you can get the answer to the recipient in seconds and its not up for debate, as its private.

What the girls want to know is have male staff had access to their pictures and if so why was it not stated on a sticky thread some of our staff are male to accommodate the male customers,be aware they may have access to your private pictures if you add them as friends,simple.Now there is your solution to future queries, its all about privacy protecting the users and keeping them informed.

Just to confirm, it has never been a moderator policy to add friends on the forum. If a patient requests us as friends we accept as a friendly gesture.

If patients do not wish to be friends with anyone on the forum they can choose to remove them by the ‘cancel friendship’ button.

If u don’t want people looking at ur pics dont post em, girls on here could be homosexual, and other members could show their friends/ partners of results they like etc, im not saying someone would just saying they could it’s the risks u take to help other and / or get support and opinions. MYA can’t be scrutinized for having male staff especially when some patients are male. Anyone can get good naked pics from google inc free porn. . . Don’t think the pics we take in the mirror at home are quite as sexy as page three but if someone thought mine were enough to letch at em wahey cheers Adamo lol, just don’t put ur face in em. You don’t have to be a moderator to see pics of boobs basically, I understand ur concerns ladies but if they outweigh the positive advice / help they give to ladies considering their options or girls that like to compare then take them down! But I really wouldn’t worry before and after pics, and beautiful naked ladies are much more easily accessible than faffing around with this site if that’s what they are after!

If I was a lad I’d rather type ‘big tits’ in google than look at boobs on here that aren’t even fully healed!!

Tracy and lorelei, I agree with you both, we post pics on here for all our friends to see, its the Internet, and we don’t actually know the person we are talking to is 100% who they say they are, but on a site like this, the rarity of it happening seems rather low to me xx
