its only natural to feel scared but you’ll be fine. i had my first consultation with the PC and surgeon 2 weeks ago, my BA last Thursday and I feel fine, hardly any pain whatsoever, just a little uncomfort which i know won’t last forever. Good luck with your appointment hun, when are you looking at getting urs done? xx

hi girlies, yeah, it was really fast although I’d been thinking of getting it done for a few years now. Originally my BA was booked for 23rd November but they had a slot last thursday so i thought why wait and I’m glad i went for it. I had Ben Chew in Glasgow with 340cc overs. It was MYA’s first op in Glasgow!! Was originally booked for unders cos i was told that I didn’t have as much tissue for unders but on the day when the Ben did all his measurements again he said there would be at least 2cm of skin and overs would be fine. I opted for them as I wanted the more rounded fuller look and also having overs is meant to be a shorter recovery time than unders and as I have a little boy to look after, it made sense. I’ve hardly any pain at all and any slight discomfort is bearable. Just resting and letting my hubby look after me until he goes back to work (either tomorrow or Wednesday). They look really big at the moment but I guess its cos I had nothing before lol! I’m currently wearing 36DD sports bra which is really comfortable, loads of support but I guess its hard to tell at this stage cos the swelling will go down and they’ll end up fuller and more rounded. I’ve got a few photos but not been able to download them as yet but give me your e-mail addresses and I’ll send piccies when I’ve done them. Emilou, good luck meeting ur surgeon tomorrow and Sara, when ru getting urs done again? xxx Oh and ps, haven’t had the guts to tell my mum yet, can’t hide them forever under baggy tops and scarves but don’t know how she’ll take it!!
