    3 weeks till i felt comfortable sleeping on my side properly! Now im on my front again – yay!!

    haha emijane its funny you shold say that thats how im wearing mine at the moment becasue i have just took small tapes off the wounds and the bras were digging into them, my inlaws have just been and i wondered why they were lookin at me funny lol x

    i used to wear a vest top under my sports bra so it didnt rub….also i was given a tight elastic bandage that was like a boob tube, they are really good under a sports bra or on there own…xxx

    Yeh I wear non underwired too!and find a nice tight fitting one to bed as it kind of holds ur new boobs in place wthout rubbing!!had first night last night not wearing anything :D felt so good!xxx

    I tryed not wearin my bra last nite with a loose top on and i felt too free i managed to go 2hours then i had to put it back on, im goin to try it again 2nite with a tighter top. I was told to wear sports bras all the time too but im wearin non wired bras i think they do the same thing and dont look as bad xxx

    I am now 4 weeks post op and have been wearing my sports bras 24/7 and they have made me so sore under my boobs and around the sides. I have just read all your comments and so have decided to take it off for the night and it feels like heaven so thank you all

    I slept on my side after about 3 weeks, now 4 weeks and can sleep in any position just very strange having big boobies to fit somewhere lol xx

    On my consultation Mr Adamo told me not 2 wear a sports bra at all! he said a normal bra will be fine but one without wire for the first few weeks!

    hey i am 12 days post op and am supposed to be wearing sports bra night and day for six weeks. Under my right boob is really sore and eases when i take bra off, do you think i will be ok to have a break from it for the night ? X

    yeh thats what i thought too, yeh dreamergirl my nipples r rlly sensitive at the moment, tell u what it feels like (dont know if any of yous can relate to this) when you have had a baby and breastfeed yr boobs fill up with milk and you get a tight tingly feeling, feels just like that at the moment WEIRD! lol x

    My bras hurt my scars too on a night, it makes them really sore in a morning and i always wake up thruout the night in pain too, im goin to try not wearin a bra 2nite see if it works i feel so much better not wearin one but im sure some1 told me that your only alowed to take it off for half an hour a day!! i dont no where that came from xxx

    Try wearing a vest top I find it helps if nipples are sensitive xx

    cheers, i left it off until 2am as i felt a bit weird being bare lol was definately more comfortable, x x

    i didn’t wear mine at all after the first week! Was so much more comfortable! My surgeon doesn’t agree that wearing the bra does anything at all o he just said whatever you feel most comfortable doing.
    Im 8 weeks post op now and have had no problems :)

    Yeh that’s fine!after first week I didn’t wear mine to bed as it hurt my inscisions!!I’ve been much better after nt wearing it :) just as long as u wear it when u need supporr!!xxxx
