Will ice ease my swelling ?

So I’m about 4 hours post op and my breasts are starting to swell and feel extremely tight and uncomfortable. Would it be ok to put an ice pack on them to sooth them.? This may sound a stupid question just want to make sure I look after them during the healing process the best I can x

Yeah get one one!!! I got given ice packs in hospital, they really helped xx

Thanku I am now sat with a bag of frozen peas on each breast it feels so soothing xx
