Hi ladies, going out for the day and as its nice and sunny i wanted to wear a strappy top – not a good look with a sports bra lol! do you think it would be ok to wear a push up bra just for one day or will it make them a wonky shape as i’m only 4 weeks post op…

P.S. i know its a daft question but just wanted to ask xx

Good question I’m 5 weeks and want to take a couple on holiday with me? Only to wear under vest tops for short times?

    Anyone cheated and done this?

Thanks Bex…they aren’t too bad now painwise, just ache a bit! I had an uplift but luckily i had the lollipop scar so i don’t have the scar under my boob which was a bonus! My nipples still hurt where the stitches were but they are healing a lot better now! Think i will give the push up bra a shot today – will only be for a few hours anyway! xx

Hey xxjoxx, Im going to egypt in June and staying in the Holiday village! I read that loads of people got stomach bugs and that whilst there! was you ok? Im panicing now cos taking my 2 little boys and dont want them to get sick! Overall would you say it was ok in shalm? (sorry to change subject) xx

I went back to wearing underwired and push-up bras fulltime from 3 weeks post op with no problems. My plastic surgeon said that the bra is for my support and comfort after the op, and not a device to keep the implants in the correct position (which is down to accurate planning and surgery). The reason he advises no underwires for about 4 weeks is to avoid pain from the wire pressing on the wound in the crease. He said that most ladies are reasonably comfortable with wires after about 3 weeks and that was the case for me.

You’ll be fine hun, it won’t make your boobs go wonky! It’s funny though how the surgeons all have their own preferences when it comes to bras after op! xXOx

Oh this is great news :D i thought it was no bras for 6 weeks!! I am going to a hen party 3/4ish weeks after my surgery so hopefully i will be able to get the boobies out haha :D especially as my friend who is getting married has massivee boobs already lol xx

Thanks everyone…although i had an uplift i haven’t got the scar under my boob so underwires are fine….just been out for a few hours with a normal bra and they feel fine :) My bf nearly fell through the floor when he saw them with a push up bra haha…they looked massive! xx

Klill25 we were all fine when we went to the holiday village…the kids loved it, i think the tummy bug thing can happen pretty much anywhere you go…don’t panic – you will have a great time :) xx
