Will it really hurt to wear a proper bra one night?! 4 weeks 2 days post op….

Hi girls,

im getting really impatient with my sports bra and am dying to get in to some nice new proper ones like im sure most of you are between these 6 weeks post op. I have bought a nice new top to wear out on Friday, I will be 4 weeks and 2 days post op then. This top deserves a pretty bra underneath haha, is it really going to make a difference just for a few hours!? I have breaks from my sports bra where I wear no bra so it cant be much difference can it? Ive bought a ‘t-shirt’ bra so its not max padded or anything.

Any girls been wearing proper bras a little earlier then they should have?xx

Im nearly 3 weeks. I bought myself some firm support nursing bras.

They are soft cup & dont have any wires but they are way more sexy than sports bras!

It depends on your scars i guess, the last thing you want to do is agravate them with underwire as they will take longer to heal and won’t look as neat.

I rang my coordinator and asked the same she said it would be fine as long as its not got any wire in but i would b 5wks then. x

Hey Hun , I wore a normal underwire on sat night at 3.5 wks post op. I’m lucky my scars are pretty invisible already so I was fine. X

Thats great! Mine are healed and hardly noticable. Feel like a bra could rub and it wouldn’t even bother me. Im going to go for it for a few hours. Finally get to feel great with new boobies xx

I’m 3wks post op an mine still look lyk they hav scabs on them!

Naty128 dont worry chick am nealry 3wk and my scabs are only just comimg off some people heal quicker than others x

Ahh gdgd, I got worried then! Cnt wait till they settle properly, right 1 looks fine by left is bit higher! Think it’s coz I’m right handed xx
