Will they postpone?

Had my pre-op and my heart rate was very low (44-46). I was referred back to my GP and had an ECG which showed that I have first degree heart block and arrythmia. My op is this coming Monday (17th) and the GP had only just forwarded the results if my ECG.

Are they likely to go ahead with surgery or should I expect it to be postponed? I’m feeling so anxious about it all.

Sarah I hope your op won’t be postponed? Usually with first degree heart block unless there are obvious symptoms they just monitor, there are many athletes with this condition. Keeping fingers crossed for you x
