wired bras???

when can i start wearing them, i was told by my nurse 12 weeks is that right?? i been shopping and want them on NOW.. xx

I was told at six weeks – i had my 6 week check and put my underwire on straight away and put the sports bra in me bag xxx mu nurse helped me fasten up the bra lol

i thought 12 weeks sounded to long, new bras here i come.. x

I stayed in sports bras til the 3.5 month mark and I’ve been in underwired all day every day (sports bras to sleep/in the gym) since, but I’ve been having little pains in both boobs since. Nothing unbearable but still. xx

Mr Singh told me to wait a bit longer than 6 wks if I could, I’ve worn one for one day since I turned 6 weeks and don’t know if it’s just a coincidence but one of my incisions has come open at the side. They say anything up to 3 months I think, I ha scar sheets protecting mine but have still been unlucky so am going to wait a while once the hole has healed up (again)

i was told i was fine to wear underwired bras at my 6 week check, but i still dont find them comfortable for more than a few hours so only wearing them when i see my boyfriend or on a night out in town. other than that im still wearing my support bras in work etc

I was told at least 3 months by my surgeon. Because the scar tissue is still being formed the wire can cause damage to the way the scar tissue is permanently formed.
