wish I'd left my fried eggs alone!

Sorry to be so down and moan, but second night and its awful I’m in so much pain and can’t breathe properly. Right now I really wish I hadn’t had it done I’ve got so much air/fluid rattling around one side its agony and I feel like I have heartburn

This is not fun at all. All I want to do is sleep properly! Xxx

All I can say is it does get better honey,in a few days you will gradually feel much better,and the results will be so worth it,you don’t believe this right now because you ache and all you want to do is sleep comfortably,hang in there honey,you are going to look amazing,xxxx

It does get better the first couple of nights after op I wanted to cut them off was soo uncomfortable but as tina said it does get better babe n it will be the best thing uve done x x x

You’ll be ok in a few days hun, you’ll forget how uncomfy it is n painfull & you’ll be made up xxx

Aww, like the other girls have said. I does get better. If your in constant pain though it’s worth giving the nurse a call. Hey might be able to give you different pain killers. Have you got that tape on? X

you will get better as days go on hun, just rest loads and try not to worry so much xx

I feelike I can’t breath too wen my painkillers wear off, how many co-coda mol did everyone get discharged with? I’ve ran out, none left and major panic, there’s no way I can cope on just paracetamol only yet! X

hi Natalie, I think you need to ring the helpline if you are in that much pain….and you can buy co-codamol over the counter if you need to, I only got 3 strips when I got discharged. It does get dramatically better after around 48-36 hours, I only took painkillers for a couple of days, but everyone has different thresholds of pain and slightly different surgery! I’m 12 days post op now and can even sleep on my side! I do think you need to ring the nurse and get checked out though, take care xx

I got discharged with 28. I’d give the nurse a ring. See if they can prescribe you some more. When did you have the op? X

Hi hun. I was exactly the same & i had overs so i wasn’t expecting it! Don’ worry it does get better and it’s all worth it in the long run. I just cried for the first week none stop, my boyfriend didn’t know what to dow ith me so your not alone lol xxx

Hi hun….make sure you take regualr ibuprofen and paracetamol. Try taking painkillers before you attempt to get out of bed in the morning and when it gets too uncomfortable try heat pads, I found all of this helped xx

i have managed to get some more co-codamol, i had my op on monday and altho the pain is better now, i still need them, only took one this morning and i feel uncomfortable, back to two at precisely 12.30! kimmystella, give the nurse a ring, i did and i feel better now knowing everything is normal, i dont have a high pain threshold xxx

Hi huni I was the same I was crying to have them took out, I just wanted some 1 to knock me out till they felt better! I was on my own all day with 2 kids and they were so confused too. But as every1 else has said it does get better I’m 2 weeks po today and I am forgetting how bad it was! My nurse gave me diclofenic and cocodamols I took them all for the 1st 5 days then went on to ibuprofen and paras cos the meds made me feel shit too! I kept going dizzy. There is light at the end of the tunnel huni much love x x

Thanks for all ure advice girls, don’t know what I’d do without all u lot to count on – I know, I’d sit at home and panic!! I will have nice boobies I will have nice boobies. No pain no gain lol! Xxx
