Hey girls, I work as a store assistant in a shop and sometimes I do need to lift heavy thing and reach up to high shelves! I’m feeling slightly stressed as I’ve only just started this job and have took a week off.. Will this be enough time? I also don’t want them to feel like I’m taking the mick as I haven’t told them what operation I’m having! Xx

stacey you really need to have a word with your nurse. I personally am sure you’re not supposed to do any strenuous exercise for 6 weeks. I understand you are worried about work but you don’t want to cause any damage or ruin your new ‘girls.’ Have a word with her and put your mind at rest hun xx

I would take 2 weeks off hun. I went back after a week to light duties behind a desk and it was too soon, 2 weeks would have been better xx

Hi Hun. I would tell them so they will give you lighter duties for the time being. Hopefully they will be understanding. I work in an office and this is day 2 of being back. My boobs are hurting and feel tight. Im ok when i get home and relax. Im going totry get few days off next week. See what my GP says. Hope everything goes ok .xx good luck.xx

i originally booked one week off for my op, as annual leave. but since then ive been worrying so i went to see my divisional manager and managed to get a week off unpaid leave. (ive ran out of annual leave as mine runs from april to april!! deffo try take two if you can, i just think if your spending so much money you dont wanna risk any kind of complication caused by work xxx
