Working after surgery

Hiya,
How long did everyone have off work after surgery? I know everyone heals differently but I don’t know how long to book off! I’m having surgery in June. I do beauty therapy, so lashes nails brows etc!

I took two weeks off work and was so glad that I did. I felt gross for the first 9 days as I couldn’t shower and by the two week mark I was feeling much more myself. I would recommend two weeks if possible x

I have my own cleaning business and I had three weeks off but my job is very manual, I struggled with the gears in my car for about another 2 weeks after that xx
