Hi ladies
Had my boobs done on Thursday night and loved them at first sight, i know they are going to change loads and at the minute to high and to far apart but im really concerned that they are completely different shapes.
The right one looks great its how I would expect at 2 days p.o. but the left looks deformed, it’s a full ball that comes out very sharply from my chest and has like a shelf on top if you get me… please tell me it’s normal, it’s also more painful than the right ?
Hi Hun,
I’ve not had my surgery yet, but do you have the list of the potential side effects, see if any of your symptoms are on there and call the emergency number?
Lovely nurse who saw me told me they would rather you phone about something or nothing than not Phone at all!! Give them a call and hopefully they can reassure you. She also said what you feel isn’t right within reason you should contact them about. It’s probably just strange lumps and bumps that come with settling but better to be safe than sorry.
They look FABULOUS regardess by the way!!!
Xx
Thanks hun,
Iv been reading a lot in here and everyone saying a lot of the same sort of thing, going to see how it is in the morning.
Nurse in the hospital asked me about a blk booklet that may should have given me with possible problems, i didnt get it ???? will phone tomorrow if it’s still looking as weird.
Iv loosened my bra I think it was causing more swelling. Fingers crossed x
@phoenix04 did they say who to call, if got a card and it only says to call in an emergency?
Hi Susan, i can see why you would be worried but i honestly think you have likely been extremely swollen after your op and your swelling has reduced rapidly in one and the other is still to catch up a bit (my day 6 picture was like this they looked very like stick on balls) despite having unders they looked very much like overs, my immidiate swelling didn’t really start to reduce till day 5 and took 3 weeks before the skin on my sternum stopped shining and calmed down, obviously we dont know the extent of your pain though so if it’s worrying you give them a call, is the pain on the side you use the most?
They look fabulous by the way!
I will try to find my day 6 picture xxx
It’s more tight than sore, feel like its effort to breathe… I’m not normally a drama queen Im normally pretty tough but this has floored me ????
Went out today for a walk and I’m trying to be more mobile to see if it helps the swelling go down.
The right side that I use most is fine so could be that the left needs a little more moving about.
Love to see your pic if you could post it, would help put my mind at rest.
Thanks hun x
Hey Susan here’s the pic, thought it was day 6 but it’s day 7 i was having my dressings changed (ignore the incisions they look yak on here!) Don’t underestimate the pain you can be in i have a condition thats made my pain thresh hold huge and i honestly thought my recovery would be a breeze but it floored me, i kept insisting i was in so much pain something must have gone wrong, deffo get out the house it makes you straighten up more, hunching adds to the pain so nice short walks frequently will do you good, hope the rest of your recovery goes smoothly you will be at your 6 week check before you know it xxx
