You dont have to tell anyone anything honey, its your choice,if you do manual work, you may have to tell your employers that you have had a recent operation, due to health and safety at work, you may have to be on light duties for the first couple of weeks, but other than that its your choice.xxx

im not sure how work would take it im a midwife and work 12 hour shifts on my feet all day and im worried it might be painful when i go back but were really short staffed! so cant see them being nice about it i guess il just have to play it by ear :s xxx I havent even booked yet i should probably take it one step at a time but in my head I def want to do it xxx

I think you would have to tell them, but take someone to one side, dont ask them tell them you have planned this for a long time and it is happening, they should understand.Do you have any holidays you can take honey.xxx

Well I had overs, I was fine in a week, but I still took the next week off,I think its may be a little different for you, especially if heavy lifting may be involved in the first few weeks, have a word with your supervisor in confidence, see what she says,if its in confidence she has to respect that.xxx

i have one word of advice, blow what everyone else thinks or say, your doing this for yourself and no one else, what other people say or think about it, is irrelevant, because its all about what you want, i told everyone i know bout my ba, had some nice comments and some not so nice, but at the end of the day it was my choice and what they said didnt matter :) xxx
