worried about going back to work

Hi all,

I am worried about going back to work after 2 weeks as my job is very active, anyonbe else returned to an active job after this amount of time?

Please advise me 😐

hi i’m goin back 2 work on thursday only 8 days post op an am very worried also. my job is active an they dont know what i’ve had done so very concerned…. i know i’ll have 2 b careful but easier said than done ! also … although not in pain i still feel so tired an lethargic so dunno how will cope with the long days but i have no choice. will let u no how it goes ! x x x

I waited 6 weeks before going back to very active job (paramedic) also waited 9 days to drive and struggled a bit!there was no way I cud have gone bk to work sooner and lift heavy people!so guess it depends how active ur job is xxx

mine is retail but heavy deliveries an bendin an liftin ….. oh dear !!! x x x

well i am a teacher of a practical subject, so don’t lift things but definitely move alot!!!! its the only time i can have it done though. Good luck Cherry B, let me know how you get on xx

Aww Cherry…hope you cope at work ok. I’m not looking forward to going back after i have mine. I’m a dog groomer so alot of lifting, very physical job just brushing a big dog makes your arm ache!! I’m wondering whether i will take longer to heal as well as i know people say the arm they use more takes longer, my right arm is stupidly strong from doing this job for 7 years, dread to think what my chest muscle is like, hope it doesn’t hold the implant down too tight lol!! Has anyone found that that happens? xx

You won’t be able to lift anything heavy prob until 3 weeks!whatever you do don’t push yourself to lift things as u dnt want to ruin your new boobs!!!

thank u will let u know how it goes… i know i did it on 2 tight a timescale but did not want to wait months to get a longer holiday from work ! x x x

Lol yeh I was same I couldn’t wait to have it done so changed all my holiday around!good luck with it xx
