Hi, i had a ba and nipple lift with mr russo 28/04. On my nipples there have been 2 small areas that hadnt quite healed and stitches hadnt disolved. I have just taken my sports bra off and the one area which hadn’t healed the scab and stitch has come off and left a nasty open wound/cut :( I’m worried now. But can’t call nurse till the morning. Want to get in the shower but don’t want to risk anymore infection. Shall I put a steri strip on it?? I just don’t know. Sorry to go on I’m just panicking! X

Put a steri strip over it hun and call the nurse in the morning. If you’re really worried call NHS direct and they will be able to advise you. Probably best not to get in the shower as you say cos of infection. Don’t worry it happens xxx

Thanks for your quick replies girls. Mya mod, I just thought it wouldn’t be a good enough reason to call the nurse? Shall I call the out of hours nurse then? X

That’s exactly what she said to me jlwalker. I had some steri strips do put one of them on as they let the skin breathe don’t they. Will call clinic in the morning. I’m in on sat for 6 week check but will see how it is in the morning. Thanks again to all of you. Xx
