    Hi

I am now 14 weeks post op and to be fair all went well to start with and I had very few problems with recovery other than having SUPERSENSITIVE boobs for about 8 weeks. I had 410 overs and have gone from a full B/empty C to a full E However, over the last 5/6 weeks I have noticed that one of my boobs is very achey and the implant is ‘mobile’ to the point that i can manipulate it quite easily into some strange shapes :-( When i lie flat, one is just perfect and this other one has a square look too it and is totally flat on the top, I can feel the whole way around the implant and get my fingers under it :-( I saw the nurse today and she is going to mention it to my surgeon who she says will want to see me but will probably tell me there is nothing wrong and this is normal…..well square flat tits that cost 4k are not normal surely :-( Thankfully my daughter is keeping me smiling by calling it my playdoh tit and asking me to make her a swan!!!! :? has anyone else experienced this and what happened

    Thanks girlies

Sounds like bottoming out hun. If it’s gonna happen it’ll be with overs and if implant is heavy! I was speaking with my nurse about it today and she said if it happens it’s normally 9 weeks + if it’s gonna happen? Don’t quote me on it though as im not a surgeon!

Oh well thats good to hear. I asked nurse about it because I wanted to know signs for implant rejection, cc & bottoming out. Just wanted to know how you would know if you had any of them.

Hope you end up seeing surgeon soon. Let us know how you get on x

Mr T told me that bottoming out is more likely to happen with unders than overs tho can happen with both? Really hope its nothing to worry about ladypank. Can u not just get an appt with whichever surgeon is at ur clinic next…just for peace of mind? xx

Hey fairydust – sorry to hear – hope it gets looked at soon – hang in there ..x

That’s what I thought too Fairydust and I had assumed that I was having unders having seen surgeon at THG.When I saw Mr T and he advised overs i was kind of surprised and my first query was about bottoming out cos I was worried about it.He said that it was an old-fashioned idea that it was more likely with overs and said he’d seen it happen more with unders cos the implant kinda just keeps sliding down the muscle cos there’s nothing to physically stop it? I’m no expert,it’s just what he said! xx

hope it will be ok ladypank, can i ask if anything was to go wrong after surgery would we need to pay more money??? xxx

I am pretty sure you are covered for CC up to 5 years after surgery and they guarentee the initial look for 3 years I think and that includes bottoming out…..so it kindo of depends on ‘when’ things start going ‘tits up’ pardon the pun

    xx
