Worrying myself sick -3 wk post op

Looking at the scars upsets me. They look awful. Worried about the size also they seem to have shrunk now to not much bigger than I had before. Also looks like one is noticeably smaller than the other sorry to whinge girls:(

It also appears that every other picture I look at on this site has a nicer result than me:( so upset

You are always there when I need you;). Wish u were here. Probably doesn’t help that I’m on holiday in Cornwall. See all the hot girls in bikinis and I can’t even sunbathe properly and wd frighten every one away:(

You silly head – they look great! Its awful having to wear these unflattering, annoying bras and not being able to really appreciate them yet. I think they heal at different rates. My right one still feels odd and they are both completely numb underneath. My scars looked bad when I had dressings off but they’ll get better everyday.

Just think of the 6 weeks mark when your scars have all healed and you are wearing all them sexy bra’s….i honestly know exactly how your feeling hun but it won’t last forever And the girls are right…they DO look fab xxx

Ok I took some pictures of my scars on my camera will upload as soon as I can then you will see what I m saying U are all so lovely though thank you. I need counselling for my depression at the moment lol xxxxx

aww bless u hun, my boobie blues hit at around 3 weeks i was sooo depressed!! felt like topping meself some days!!

my scars were awful till week 5 hun, if i put pics of them up id scare pre op girls away!!

my stitches reacted with my skin and caused my scars to peel flake and scab ask xxjoxx they were horrendous i only showed her and ticky them!

ur only 3 weeks hun chin up! xxx

its par for the course hun…your body has gone through a traumatic time and its gonna take time to get back to normal xx

Aww i think ur boobs look fab!!! id be mega chuffed with them! the whole thing has prob been a huge rollercoaster tho, physicaly and mentaly so ur bound to have shitty moments. but its still such early days jst take it easy and dont worry bout ur scars, they can take a while to settle so jst try and look on the brightside, u have amazing perky boobies! x

Ya boobs will seem smaller because ya swelling has gone down Hun but as they soften and develop there shape they change loads plus ya will be in normal bras to which makes a hell of a difference give yaself a couple of weeks and you’ll be fine!! I would say 90% of girls go through exactly the same as you are now, your boobs will heal differently as they are two separate ops you may find one heals and drops quicker than the other don’t panic totally normal scars take longer but will flatten and fade in time honestly, chin up hun ignore them and let them do there thing it’s all part of the joys of a BA!! Who thought our boobs could give us so much worry eh xx Sam xx

aww chin up hun! the first 6 weeks are like a roller coaster ride with ups and downs, try not to worry your self too much, u wil be surprised how much they change. and scars wil take a long time. but when u can start putting bio oil on etc u wil see a difference every day. dont let it ruin your holiday. xx
