Wound issue!

Hi all
I’m 3 weeks po and everything is healing perfectly and I’m so happy!
I’ve just out of the shower today and found a thin plastic wire poking out of the wound! I don’t think its a suture as I had Mr Jallali and he uses glue externally.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Just a little bit worried!!

Sounds like one of your internal stitches, did you have unders? X

No hun I had overs x

You will still have dissolvable one inside Hun my nurse told me to massage the scars quite firmly to encourage them to brake down xx

If the stitch is catching on things or getting in the way you can trim it down xxx

I literally found the same thing, I’m 2W4DPO and I found it after I took my first shower after having my dressings off. I just careful trimmed it down to the skin x

I have this. But its just my disolvable stitches at the end where the knot is. Sadly they can take months to disolve x

I Forgot to say I got my partner to trim them for me also. I’m 6weeks post op x x
