wound oozing

hey girls Im nearly 3 wks post op from having 380 unders. Pain mostly gone, now and then a little if I stretch to much etc. However a few days ago noticed a little bit oozing from wound but it stopped straight away. Yesterday i changed to a different sports bra and it started oozing again, Ive put a dry dressing on for now and rang emergency nurse and have to ring clinic for appointment with nurse 2moro has anyone else experienced anything like this xx

well i had mine done 4 months ago, but i had uplift and implant! and only 2 weeks ago, i had this tiny spot at the side of my nipple, and all this white yellow stuff came out?? was minging!!! but it healed back up after a week or so! i have dissolvable stitches inside my nipples, where they sewed them back on! and i think it was the stitching dissolving that caused this! but the nurse will sort it out for you! everybody heals at diff times, and speed so will just be the hwealing prob XXXXXX

Ive been back and forward to clinic to see nurse and surgeon quite a few times now. I had excess fluid which surgeon had to drain which was a little uncomfortable then I had dressing over area 10 day course of antibiotics and few check ups with nurse. Since dressings have came off area is more red very dryandskin has went thin and hardaround the area and a lumpy blister formed across the full length of my scar. I have to go to leeds on tuesday to see surgeon but not really sure what can be done do help it heal, my right one is fine im 5 wks now and was looking forward to wearing normal bras soon, no chance while my scar is like this . Im just glad myas aftercare has been so good theyve got me appoinments straight away and nothing is a problem for them xx

what was ur surgeon hun? sorry to hear that sounds like such a pain but nice to know that the aftercare is good at least you can call them whenever u need xx

Sounds like you had a reaction of some sort – mild infection perhaps. They’ve given you antibiotics to take of any infection tho so that’s good. I wouldn’t be surprised if I have problems, it seems the older I get the more problematic my body is at healing! argh!

I’m sure you’ll heal perfectly in a few weeks. The human body can be totally unpredictable – just stick at looking after yourself exactly how the nurse tells you and you’ll be fine. xxxx

Hi had Mr kazzazi yeah I think Iv had reaction to dressing as I got a little blister over where drain had been too. Yeah the aftercares been really good and theyre taking me to leeds and back 2moro so I can see him again. Hopefully I can get some stronger antibiotics and get this horrible blister popped eww knowing me it will probably keep happening im always a sickly one lol. I will update this when I know anything further after 2moro xx
