Phew. Thanks for letting us know. Really hope she is ok. Although this doesn’t fill me with confidence given that she’s had Helena and that’s who I’ve now been put with instead of Aurakzai. I already had my doubts. x

I also got a message from her – most probably cause we both had the uplift.

It really does take it out of you and is so painful, especially as she had the full lift, bless her.

hi ladies, thanks for your concerns…i’m not doing so good to be honest, had a few funny turns in hospital after the op…i’m not really liking my boobs at the moment, think i’m just a bit down but hopefully i’ll be ok soon! I’m in so much pain its making me sick!

Lisa how i’m feeling at the min is no reflection whatsoever on helena, she is a fantastic surgeon and you will be in safe hands…she is lovely so don’t worry! The reason i say i don’t like my boobs is purely because i’m feeling low at the moment and that drugged up on painkillers! I’m happy with the size, she definately didn’t make them too big, which was what i was dreading! She also bandages you up quite tight but this is for support so i haven’t really had a good look at them yet! I don’t know if any of this made sense as i feel pie-eyed still lol, but i hope its reassured you regarding helena xxx

And thanks again to all you lovely ladies for your support, i’ll post pics when i’m feeling up to it, prob after the bandages are off!

Aww jo thanks for posting, I hope the next few days are better for u! It’s a big thing to have done (uplift)! If u do feel down just get on the forum and we will all try and cheer u up! Don’t rush yourself everyone is different! We can see your pictures when ur up to it!

Sorry to hear your feeling so rough Jo, having an uplift is a real shock to the system, i felt down for weeks and i was so emotional in first 2wks, i’d just cry at the littlest thing! I’m still not loving my boobs at almost 6wks post op, yeah they are an improvement on before but to me they just look awful! Hope your being well looked after and feeling better soon. xx

oh no…. i have my op in 2days im really not looking forward to it now my hubby has one day off work then i guess i have to get on with it i have a 6month old baby too whos a bit of a heavy chunk!

I dont like the bottom vertical scars, they are massive, and they are just so uneven at the moment. To me they look so unnatural. My right is ok but my left is awful. I know/hope they’ll sort themselves out soon. xx

One surgeon offered me the Lollipop scar and then Mr Traynor said the anchor…going with Mr Traynor. The scars do scare me allot like xx

hi again ladies….i’v just been dozing for a couple of hours and i’v woken up in absolute agony, its unbearable…everything is hurting my ribs, my neck, my tummy and my legs as well as my boobs! Its making me really upset and i can’t stop crying…did anyone else feel pain as intense as this? I can hardly breath and my chest feels like its on fire…sorry for being soft and moaning but you ladies are the only people i can ask as you know what i’m going through! i’m really beginning to regret having them done now xxx

Sending hugs and hope you feel better soon. The post op blues are normal, but I hope once the worst pain has given way, and you are healed – you will love your boobs. If you had a uplift as well I can only assume results will take a little longer to show. Get lots of rest and happy healing sweetie xxx

I’m scared if it gets to bad ring ya nurse take some paramol my cuz gad same procedure n she swore by them don’t regret it hun u will soon see the benefits xx

I don’t think you’re allowed to take paracetamol but you can take Nurofen. Jo, I’d definately ring the nurse because you sound in too much pain. Hope it subsides soon for you. x
