Yellow stuff on bra from wounds worried???

I had my tape removed Thursdsy and i took my bra off yesterday and there was sum yelliw patches on it but it was dry so dont know if it was after the nurse cleaned up the area and may have been abit wet any1 else had anything like this and wat was u advised to do? I keep getting told different things one nurse said its a good sign of healing and another telling me to take my sterile strips off but i was told to keep them on for 3 days x

Hey honey that’s probably iodine that the surgeons use to sanitise their hands and your body before they do the op. I had it on my skin around my bandages, not massive amounts because they do clean you up but I guess they can sometimes leave some on your skin. If it smells foul then worry but if not just chill xo
