yellow??

hi girls,

i hate doing this but i was friends with a ‘yellow’ but was checking my friends list and looked at profile and relised that yellow had only added friends no comments etc? but a lot of you have accepted? is it me just being daft? sorry yellow if you are genuine i deleted you then you re-added me?xx

Also had a request, but Im afraid haven’t accepted it as like you I am unsure xx

Perhaps yellow prefers to private message friends and does not post comments.

There has already been a thread similar to this which included Yellow. As Tina says, she may prefer to pm rather than participate in public discussions, or maybe she doesn’t have the time to be on the forum everyday.

It may be more appropriate to ignore requests if you are wary for any reason, rather than publicly post a comment about the person.

Yellow is an ‘oldie’…just because she dosnt post on here dosnt mean shes a perv or she should have derogitory threads made about her. 6 months ago there would never have been a thread like this on here

Some of us are new to all this though and have been a little scared when we read threads about people photos ending up on other sites and facebook. I’m sure no offence was meant to anyone.

Further to my above comment, please don’t be so naive to think that people who never comment or get involved are possibly imposters and the people who are on here everyday are genuine.

It is just as likely, if not more likely, that a person who is constantly on the forum, chatting, posting and forming friendships, could be an imposter.

So posting about someone you’ve never met, asking opinions about that person from people you’ve never met is a little pointless.

newbies add people all the time without commenting and when oldies do they get a thread about them, just ignore.

and some of us like yellow have been on here for ages lara. When newbies come on and send out mass requests without talking to anyone like alot do we dont start naming and shaming people, its awful.

It’s the same as any other forum/chat room/social networking site. If you don’t want to share your information and photos, then don’t. Only add people or friends that you know or set your personal info and photos to private.

This is common sense when using these sorts of sites.

I think this is all so sad. The thread did not start in a malicious way. She may hAve Been mistaken but she was seeking reassurance as are we all about one thing or another. It’s seems that summer is now feeling shunned and shamed. I don’t think anyone in this forum wants to hurt or offend anyone at all. Everyone I have spoken to has been lovely and kind. Summer, I think the reason this has bothered some people is that there’s already been a couple of threads similar which have named people and questioned who they are etc. When the people in question finally came across these posts, they were obviously quite hurt and upset. So if you’re unsure about someone, just avoid them. Like in “real life”, lol.

The point I was making, and am still trying to make to everyone, is to stop assuming that quiet people are dodgy and equally stop assuming that friendly and chatty people aren’t. It doesn’t work like that on the internet – we don’t really know who anyone on here really is! Apart from any of us that have met of course.
