your surgery date

ok so its been confirmed my surgerys next august but the exact date hasnt been set did any of you set a date way before surgery or does it have to be when the surgeon available? x

Hiya buttons… I booked my surgery date in Jan even before I met with the surgeon as I can only do April 19th during Easter half term….. Just ring your PC im sure she will have some date you can go through… good luck with yours

Are u having it this year August or next year?? Last week i payed my desposit and im having my op the 14th September. I chose the date and my PC gave it to me straight away. I think i have a great PC. Im having soft touch too 470cc. Cant wait!! x

hiya ive asked about dates and i was told i can book a provisional date so means il get first choice of a date around that time etc but what if i booked a provisional date and they said rite the actual nearest date to that is a week later and ud already booked time off work etc? or do they usually try get it as close to the date u asked for? x

generally the surgeon doesnt know what dates theyll be working and what hospitals there in upto a month or so before, i had to wait a few weeks before booking mine as mr traynor hadnt given his workin dates to mya xx
