Hi @redrose24 I had Vaser on my upper arms. I’m really pleased with my arms, they are alot less flabby than they used to be.
Emma is right though, my results are alot more impressive on my stomach but the back of my arms don’t bulge out anymore and this is what i was hoping for. My photos are on the MYA website and i also have an Instagram journey if you want to see photos. xx

Hi @redrose24, I have just accepted your friend request.

I don’t have any cellulite on the areas I had Vaser’d. I do have a small amount on my legs but this has always been there. x

Hi @asage I can try help I had Vaser a year ago.

I had some leakage for the first few hours after surgery but just kept towels over my bedding.
I don’t think you will need to have it again unless you have a different areas, i think from here if you mange your weight you should be ok. I my finding it so much easier to maintain my weight than before my op.

No you wont look strange, you can have a look at my photos if that helps. xx

Hi @emmad84, I’m near 10 months post op now I’ll try help out with any questions.
I used to get the swelling problem if I had been sat down a lot during the day. I found wearing Spanks helped with this. it’s nothing to worry about and will go over time. I feel completely fine now without Spanks.

When I went back to exercise I continued to wear the Macom garment for a few weeks, this helped stop swelling and made me feel more comfortable.

I didn’t ever have MLD but I found massaging my own areas I managed to reduce the lumps and now they have gone.

I think you just need to give everything time. Make sure your drinks plenty of water and maybe try on some different spanks to cover the areas you have had vasered but are less visible than the macom garment.
    Hope this helps x

@annahampshire There is a huge difference, especially on your outer thighs. I’m still working hard in the gym and watching what I eat but I’m not dreading summer holidays and having to put a bikini on. Are you using anything on your scars? x

@sjane you have nothing to be nervous about honestly. I have my stomach and bra roll done with some other areas and its the best decision I made! You can have a look at my photos if you want x

Hi @amyrmartin, It might take more time for the swelling to go because you use your legs all the time. Have you started back at the gym? x

    Hi @anew2016

Well done on loosing so much weight!

They say its up to 5 litres across all the body not each area. I have Vaser lipo not traditional but you might want to have a look at my pictures as I had stomach, flanks, arms and bra roll done in December.

At your first consultation with MYA you meet your patient coordinator and they will explain the procedure to you and discuss prices and surgeon options. x

Hi @teens I was first in too, Its good because you have less waiting round to do and less time to get nervous.

The pains not too bad, I had my procedure on the Friday and was back in work the Wednesday after, Although I have an office based job which helped. The swelling should be a lot better at 4 weeks post op. Although you might still be in the thin garment. x

In reply to: Last Minute Doubts

    Menu

@bigben I was lucky to do it in the winter but I still had the struggle of hiding the garment over Christmas time as I kept it a secret from most people. Once you get over the first few days you will find outfits you feel comfortable in and which help hide the garment.

The bruising and tenderness goes down after the first week, I also used arnica cream with a cooling agent in it which really helps relax the areas. Also I have some picture of my incisions on Instagram if you would like to to see how they fade, I think mine will take a while to fade since my Ba scares are still slightly there and its been nearly 2 years.

In reply to: Last Minute Doubts

    Menu

@bigben I was nervous before I had my procedure too, but I’m so glad I did it! I’m so much happier with my body now, it was nothing i could of achieve with exercise and diet! Also the recovery time will go a lot quicker than you expect, honestly its all worth.

@amylouk I had the same issue with sickness. I think it was the pain relief tablets that made me feel like this. But it did go after the first few days, I foubd drinking lots of water helped. Xxx

I have a picture on here in a dress and I have the 4d vest underneath it, It is thick but you only look like you have put abit of weight on which isn’t a massive problem because underneath all the padding you will feel tiny. I’m not sure if you can ask for another colour, I wear alot of dark clothes so black was perfect for me. xx

Hi, The post op recovery honestly isn’t too bad, the first few days are uncomfortable but nothing terrible and you soon forget about any of this when you see your results!
A good idea is to get some big dress to help hide your 4D vest for the first few weeks. I would also suggest something to help cover you bed for when you get back from the clinic, I leaked a little for the first night. xx
