  • In reply to: Wanting a BA, I’d love to hear from you…

    Menu

Hi I always wanted a BA had many humiliating experiences over the years, my worry at the time was the implants leaking but I talked it over with the surgeon and he reassured me. I must admit I have been a bit concerned about the illness but as my implants are in and I am healthy I just put it to the back of my mind. I have also been involved in a pilot for breast cancer screening with implants with the NHS they do the normal scan then just scan the natural boob after. The main question is whether you’re prepared to accept the risk which I was and you can always have them removed later hope this helps?

Hi Beth I was the same size as you take a look at my profile, when it was first done they seemed small but 4 years post op am very happy with results, however your boobs hang is how they will be after mine were wide spaced and still are πŸ˜€

Hi I’m 4 years post op and have most sensation back I was very slow getting it back just have to be patient πŸ˜€

    In reply to: Nipple pain

    Menu

Hi first time I’ve been on this site in years πŸ₯΄ I am 4 years post op very pleased with results still. I have reduced sensitivity in one nipple and occasional shooting pains even now. It is at your stage due to the nerves healing mine took 12 months to settle. Poppy as long as one nipple has sensitivity it will be just as good 😜

    In reply to: Mr kazzazi

    Menu

Hi I had my surgery with Mr Kazzazi August 2016, the operation day was good and results are everything I could have hoped for look and feel totally natural and you can’t see the scars. He can appear stand of fish but he is brilliant at his job. His son was training with him on my op day so looks like he will take over in future ????

In reply to: Sharp Stabbing Pain

    Menu

Hi Charlie I had sharp stabbing pains and it was nerves healing, also nipples went very sore and cold made boobs agony I am now 8 weeks post op and all settled down now, try ice packs and ibuprofen happy healing xx

In reply to: Mr Kazzazi 9th October

    Menu

Hi girls I can’t recommend Dr Kazzazi enough I have got fantastic results with him, incisions have healed well, no loss of sensation, natural looking. Both he and the nurses were brilliant on the day, your partner can stay in your room with you and while your op is being done they will look after them. Any questions feel free to ask xx I had 400 mod unders and have gone from 36B to 38E xx both me & my husband can’t stop looking at them ????

In reply to: Going bra-less to bed

    Menu

Hi I have been going bra less to bed since week 6 my nurse said it was okay the only thing I find is they ache during the night and I get morning boob again ???? Xx

In reply to: Revision tomorrow. One old boob, one new!

Good luck be interesting too see your results ????

In reply to: Am I being impatient?!!

    Menu

@tracey82 Don’t worry about it I am 6 weeks post op and only just starting to notice a difference up till a couple of days ago they were the same and as you can imagine I work in a cold store warehouse and pain knocked me sick!, I feel like I am finally starting to drop now and sensitivity is reducing however I wore a wired bra for the first time yesterday then slept without a bra last night and they were really firm and achy so I have gone back to a sports bra today and I never thought I would say this after 6 weeks but it was heaven lol bear with it it can take months to settle ???? Xx

In reply to: 2 days post op. Itching?

    Menu

Hi Chloe you don’t need to wear a bra with your strapping you are probably overheating try using ice packs wrapped in a tea towel don’t apply direct to your skin. I preferred to put my ice packs in the fridge rather than the freezer as they mould to your shape better xx

    In reply to: Help ecg

    Menu

@zoewood88 Hi Zoe ECG was because I was having chest pains and palpitations turns out it was due to stress. I had to get an up to date ECG the Surgeon was happy with it when he looked at it. If your GP said there is nothing to worry about and you are not having treatment it should be ok, just be prepared for them to request you to have an ECG and they will need info from your GP Good luck Angie πŸ™‚ xx

I have to say my administrative experience was awful my PC left the day after my deposit was taken, I never got to meet or speak to my new PC, they lost my ECG luckily I had scanned it before I gave it to them, I arrived for my final consultation and they didn’t have my medical notes but after all that my surgeon was fantastic I am now 5 weeks PO and really happy with my results and glad I went ahead with it. Another suggestion if you haven’t paid any money is my surgeon Dr Kazzazi has his own clinic in Doncaster called the Natural Look Clinic all the staff there were fantastic ????

Hi Ellie I was 36B size 14 5’6″ I had Dr Kazzazi in Doncaster clinic. He doesn’t use drains and uses Sedation rather than GA. it is early days yet 5 weeks post op but am over the moon with my results. I had 400cc moderate unders, they are slowly starting to drop & fluff now and I am a 38E. I am doing a weekly update on my profile if you want to add me. ????

Hi I was 36/38 B/C and had my consultation with Dr Kazzazi at Doncaster I had 400 Moderate rounds Nader the muscle, he recommended round as I have a wide chest and he will only give you what looks natural, he also does sedation rather than GA, I have loved sleeping sitting up, had 3 pillows and V pillow cut in half to rest my arms on. I am only nearly 4 weeks post op but there are pics on my profile if you want to add me. As far as bras DrK said don’t waste money get Asda/Matalan sports bras (not very big sizes though so I got M&S sports bras. If you have strapping you don’t need a bra for first week I went to M&S and tried bras on to get right size. Hope this helps ? Angie

Hi Gem have been in for 3 hours so far twisting and turning on forklift and much better tonight one change I Have made is got a smaller cup size sports bra which holds me in place firmer feels much better as they stay in place when I move about, hope you have a better day tomorrow xx

In reply to: How did you feel first day back at work?

    Menu

My first shift was last Saturday night and it was awful as you say boobs hurt muscle hurt, felt dizzy and sick I do 12 hour shifts driving a forklift truck in a cold warehouse the cold made it even worse ? second day I dressed like Michelin man and felt a bit better I think once you get used to using your muscles again it will get easier, I booked last night off but now have 3 12 hour shifts to do but I have been driving more this week to keep muscles moving. Best thing is listen to your body and don’t do anything that pulls or hurts. Hope his helps xx

Hi Jessica recovery going well incisions brilliant, there is not much parking on site but we always managed to get a spot on the car park, I believe as it is residential there is on street parking close by too. You are given a room when you go in and you’re partner can wait in there on a comfy seat and watch tele or there is a Costa and Mc Donald’s close by on a trading estate if he wants to pop out for a bit. They are all really lovely there and look after you really well, sedation s much better than GA as well (I was amused when I saw your surname my maiden name was Lavell) ?xx

I had sedation I chose Dr Kazzazi for that reason, I react badly to GA and take about a month to recover, I still reacted on the day as they use the same as GA but less so you breathe for yourself but I was ok next day, also you don’t get a sore throat as you don’t have a tube down your throat. If you are having Dr K he doesn’t use drains either ? X I don’t remember anything from the time I had sedation to when I finally woke up in my room to Judge Rinder lol xx

@maxine I had my op 5th August had my strapping on for 7 days I had a few sores when he strapping came off but that cleared up after a couple of days.it is definately worth it though xx I had quite a bit of pain post op and still have good and bad days I will just be glad to wear a nice bra now none of the bras I have bought feel comfy as I have a bit of a spare tyre and they all roll Up under my incisions and I constantly worry about them, you will definately need help the first few days with hair washing and pretty much everything else I use 3 pillows and a v pillow cut in half to support my arms as I found it hurt with my arms pressing on strapping then bras for sleeping hope this helps ? Hi Maxine the strapping isn’t that bad it only goes round to just under your armpits. I was worried about the breathing as I panicked if I can’t breathe properly but it didn’t affect me at all as for the pain as long as you take the meds they give you it is controllable I found my shoulders and back the first couple of days was worst good luck for Saturday ???xx

Hi Lucy my experience seems to differ to others… I am 16 days PO and was taking pain killers up till 2 days ago I have nearly finished my first 12 hour shift and pain is quite bad and feel dizzy and sick so back on pain killers now ? going to book week off as I operate fork lifts and power trucks so a lot of upper body movements (imagine reversing your car with your arm behind seat for 12 hours)
I was told nothing on breasts at all for 6 weeks when you shower (I had to wait 2 weeks) you should just rinse with shower head no soap shower gel or anything xx

In reply to: Cuts & Bruises From STRAPPING

    Menu

Hi I had mine 5 August too had strapping off Friday and was so relieved I didn’t really notice anything else however next morning I took my bra off and there was spots of blood and yellow, my right boob had a big mark all down my right boob. I bought some baby wipes that said they fought germs and I’ve been using these to wipe my boobs so I don’t spread any bacteria from anywhere else. It is now scabbed over and healing well I think the best bet is to keep it as dry as possible. I pretty much got away with bruising thanks to Arnica tablets however a big black one did appear around my incision but this is fading now. I have been taking Ibuprofen to keep swelling down at night and ice packs during day has given a lot of relief as well (I have also undone my bra for a short while evening time when sitting down as I found it really uncomfortable on bruising and incisions) hope this helps ? x

Oh Cath I do sympathise with you mine didn’t split and I have burn marks from the strapping I took my bra off this morning and there was spots of blood and yellow on it. I left my bra off for a bit to let it dry out and seems ok now. My pain seems worse now I’m wearing a bra it is digging in my bruises (not much bruising thanks to arnica) so on ibuprofen and ice now. What have you got now just a bra? Xx just thought I would add this so people realise to expect some pain I am day 8 PO now ?

In reply to: Size measuring !

    Menu

Tbh girls I wouldn’t bother with measuring even in M&S I tried 10 bras on all the “same size” until I found one that fitted I bought one with strapping on Day 2 36D and I bought one yesterday for having strapping off today 38DD and now that I’m filling out will probably go and get 38E!! If you want to buy in advance get Asda bras if you are having strapping you won’t need a bra first week anyway ?
