  • In reply to: from a 34b/34c going 375cc hp partials?

    Menu

I had 400cc high profile partials from 34B in April. Been terrible at remembering to upload pictures but feel free to add me to see what I’ve put up so far 🙂 xx

I had 400cc HP partials 6 weeks ago from 34B and even though I love them, I do sometimes wish I’d gone bigger. But at the same time if I’d gone for 425 I’d probably be wishing I went for 450! Boob greed is an awful thing! I have a few pictures on my profile so add me if you want to have a look 🙂 xx

Thanks girls. I had a closer look last night and it just looks like I’m spitting a stitch. Not too worried about getting it seen to before my 6 week appointment on Tuesday so will just keep it clean and covered until then. Nothing to worry about after all ? Xx

Thank you Sonia, have you seen anyone about it? xx

It’s not hot no. I’m not too worried about infection but I’m going to see my gp tomorrow just in case. More worried about implant exposure, my amazing pc was quick to reply and said she’ll forward the pictures to the nurse at Mya for me, so just waiting to hear back from them! xx

My admission time was 9.30, and I went down at 11.30. You spend a lot of time being seen by the nurses and anaesthetist so it goes so quick, I was only alone watching TV for about half an hour before they came to take me up. They tell you where you are on the list so you get some idea of how long you’ll be waiting, I was 4th xx

    Menu

It’s crazy how girls with similar stats get such different results! I had 400cc HP partials 4 weeks ago from 34B and am currently wearing a DD comfortably. I know they still have to drop and fluff so I’m hoping they get bigger as like Jess said, they measure bigger than they look. I doubt they’ll reach a G like some girls though! I have a few pictures on my profile, feel free to have a look 🙂 xx

This is amazing! And so true! The whole time I was panicking about needles and drains, if only someone had warned me about getting the strapping taken off! xx

Thanks girls, I love them! xx

I asked the nurse this and she said you only have to wear them if you have implants placed under the muscle. I had partials and didn’t need one xx

Thanks Jess! They’re still sitting quite high at the moment, they’re really pointy when you look at them from the side! Hope your recovery’s going ok too 🙂 xx

In reply to: Quick smoking query

    Menu

I was a very heavy smoker before my op, somehow managed to stop but had a few here and there. They didn’t do any kind of test, so I’m sure you’ll be fine. Just try not to smoke on the day of your op as I’m sure if you walk in smelling of smoke they won’t be happy! xx

    Menu

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Fitzrovia, it’s only a few minutes away and I had no issue walking there after my op.
I was scared about drains too!! But they don’t hurt at all, it’s a weird pulling feeling when they’re taken out but not painful, and you can’t feel them any other time xx

I was told not to use bio oil as it can run down into your incisions. I’m sure you’ll be fine if you’re only using it on the top part of your boobs. I’ve been using cocoa butter as it’s thicker and won’t run and I haven’t had any stretch marks so far! xx

Have you girls got a V Pillow? You can get them pretty cheap from argos, and they make it so comfortable to sleep sitting up! I’m 2 weeks post op and have had no problems with it at all so definitely try it xx

In reply to: 5ft 8 size 12 34b – does anyone have similar stats?

    Menu

Hi Emily 🙂 I had very similar stats to you, I’m 5ft 7, size 10/12 on bottom and 8/10 on top. I had 400cc partials from 34B on the 12th April and I’m completely in love with them already! They’re the perfect size for my body and everything’s finally in proportion! I probably could have gotten away with going bigger, but they still need to drop and fluff so they’re still not the finished product. I had doubts before my surgery, worrying I’d gone for too big a size and wether to change to 375 or 350 but I’m so glad I didn’t!
Have you had your surgeon consolation yet? You get to try the implants on so you get a pretty good idea of what’s the right size for you.
I haven’t had a chance to upload any pictures yet, but I’m getting round to it! So feel free to add me to take a look 🙂 xx

    In reply to: Advice please

Definitely write down any questions you think of, I had so many but my mind just went blank once I got in there! It’s a good idea to remember that implants often measure bigger than they look, so ask for the cup size you want to look rather than measure.
The only other thing I did was take my own sports bra with me to try the implants in, the one they gave me was so baggy they would have been down by my knees! xx

    Menu

Less than a week to go! I’m so excited. Happy I got everything I needed early, you may feel like you’ve got so long to wait but it comes around so fast! Bio oil is for stretch marks, I’ve seen people on here only using it afterwards, and some before and after, but it’s made my skin quite bad so I’ve switched to cocoa butter, not sure if it makes any difference but I thought it can’t hurt!
Rachel do you mind if I add you? I’m having exactly the same on the 12th and would love to see how you’re getting on 🙂 xx

In reply to: Ladies with 400cc unders

    Menu

I was packed and ready weeks ago, hated sitting around doing nothing to prepare so I’ve started using bio oil and taking arnica. Less than 2 weeks to go now and I’m so excited! Sure I’ll be really nervous in the last few days though.
I’ve bought macom bras and one of the front fastening sports bras from asda in an E in case the macom ones are too tight or uncomfortable, but they’re what my pc and the nurse recommended so I’m sure they’ll be fine, I just like to be prepared!
My friend went with Harley a few years ago and hers are great! Definitely go back if you’re unsure about anything, I live too far away and work too much to be able to go back to the clinic, but I’d love to be able to try everything on again xx

In reply to: Ladies with 400cc unders

    Menu

Haha I totally get what you mean! But at the same time I’ve seen some girls with unders on here with pretty impressive cleavage! I think it depends on how much breast tissue you have to cover the implant, less means an increased chance of rippling or being able to see the edges if they’re done over the muscle. I don’t have much which is why I’m going with unders (my surgeon actually asked me “are you sure you haven’t had any children?” at my consultation!!) xx

In reply to: Ladies with 400cc unders

    Menu

I’m having 400cc unders from 34B on the 12th April. I think they recommend unders if you don’t have much breast tissue as there’s less change of seeing the edges of the implants so they look more natural. I haven’t really posted on here yet but I’ll add photos once it’s done, so feel free to add me 🙂 xx
