@khutchinson I honestly think that your boobs are just close together. I think they look great tbh. You will feel better once the nurse has told you that 🙂 x

In reply to: Could this be bottoming out / symmastia / over dissection? X

    Menu

@khutchinson Right now you will be stressed about it but once you have been to the nurse and surgeon you will feel better. Also I’ve only just started properly loving my boobs and I am 5 months post op. I can guarantee you will feel much better about them in time. Everyone goes through this stage.

Hi hun, with Symmastia the skin on your sternum would have lifted and there would be no definition whatsoever between your breasts making them turn into one boob. There is a chance that your boobs are just naturally close together like mine but go to your nurse and surgeon to confirm this. Your surgeon will compare your before pictures and your six week pictures to determine the answer. Even at 5 weeks you still have a long way to go in terms of them dropping and fluffing. They won’t be the final product at 6 weeks, it can take up to 6 months. X

In reply to: Update to Symmastia post

    Menu

@khutchinson I was around 8 weeks I think. She booked me an appointment with my surgeon because she thought it was symmastia too but couldn’t be sure but when I went to my surgeon he said my boobs are just naturally close and that the skin has definitely not lifted off of my sternum. I posted pictures on the previous post to this but that was a while back. X

In reply to: Anyone had there surgery done in Manchester??

    Menu

@demimae Hi Hun, my clinic was the manchester clinic and I went to the Preston First Trust Hospital. The staff there are fantastic 🙂 you have to pay for wifi though. I didn’t bother in the end I just watched TV. I was a day case. X

In reply to: 350 375 or 400? HELP!!!!

    Menu

@cydneyfx hi hun, I had 375/400cc mod plus overs and went from a 34a to 32f . Mine don’t look massive so I was surprised when I got measured but was very happy about it. I think maybe if you’re in doubt go for the Middle option of 375cc x

In reply to: 375cc have I gone too small?

    Menu

@misstw Hi hun, I had 375/400cc moderate plus profile overs and I went from a 34a to a 32f. I went through the phase of they look small and whatever but believe me once you get measured and you start wearing bras and bikinis etc you will feel differently 🙂 x

In reply to: I look deformed?!

    Menu

@jodie92 It’s not your job to point it out he should have noticed and corrected it. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t have to pay for the revision. Don’t let him say that they are fine though because it’s at the surgeons discretion as to whether you get a revision and he might try and fob you off with they’re fine. X

In reply to: I look deformed?!

    Menu

Ah ok. I am quite surprised that your surgeon opted for the same size in each as there is a clear difference in your before picture. I had a 1.8cm difference before and was given 375/400cc moderate plus profile implants and now they’re practically the same. The only slight difference is that I have more tissue in the left so it’s a little more rounded on the side. If I were you I’d get an appointment as soon as you can and ask for a revision x

In reply to: 400 or 500 cc mod + partials?

    Menu

Hi hun, I think there may be slightly more pain but it’s all about what you can handle personally. Keep on top of the meds they give you and rest. I had 375/400cc moderate plus profile. I think mod plus give a nice natural look. Feel free too take a look at my pictures to get a rough idea x

Hi hun, I probably wouldn’t go bra less if I were you. The nurses say to be fully supported in a sports bra for six weeks x

In reply to: Help what should I do ?

    Menu

Hi hun, don’t worry about it you’re not the only one to have felt like this. When I looked down post op mine looked the same but then you slowly start to realise that they are bigger. Get a mirror and have a look at them do front and side profile you will see a major difference from your old boobs 🙂 x

In reply to: 375 cc high profile over Mr Marcellino

    Menu

@gems2015 Congrats on the new boobies. I had 375/400cc overs. When you have overs e recovery time is much quicker and less painful but with the numbness it can take a while to go if at all. I’m 19 weeks post op and still have partial numbness on the lower part of my boobs. Be thankful your nippls are numb though mine were beyond sensitive and really painful if anything touched them.

    Happy Healin hun 🙂

In reply to: Day 2 – Agony – any advice appreciated!!

    Menu

Take your meds religiously! Every 4 hours and basically get someone to do everything for you so you’re not moving. Did you have unders or partials by any chance? They have slightly more painful recoveries. X

In reply to: 1 week post op

    Menu

Hi hun, the sharp pains are normal. Try not to itch them too much as it will cause small tears in the skin and can lead to stretch marks. Give it a few more days and your arms will go back to normal it took me until like 10 days post up until I could fully move both arms. My right arm took longer for some reason. Only advice I can give is rest and get help. I got overly confident in my first week and when I was a little hyper lifted both arms and felt the biggest most uncomfortable pulling feeling on my boobs it scared me lol x

In reply to: Advice Needed please girls..

    Menu

Hi hun, I had 375/400cc implants as i had a 1.8cm difference between my boobs. The difference in size has reduced drastically for me which is great. In terms of the dropping and fluffing, you are only 3 weeks post op you still have a long way to go. Your boobs will drop and fluff at different rates as technically you have had an operation on each boob. Just because they’re a pair doesn’t mean they do everything the same as we both know from having asymmetry. You will stress over this like a lot of other girls have but trust me it is perfectly natural. You will notice a lot of difference at six weeks plus 🙂 x

Great post hun. Your boobies look great 🙂 x

In reply to: 8wks post op- measured and fitted and love them!!

They look great hun 🙂 i’m like 17-18 weeks and my scars are still visible when i lie down too but thats because i haven’t used anything on them like bio oil, maybe try that? I’m just lazy and can’t be bothered putting it on twice a day lol x

They look amazing hun! Love your profile picture btw is that a top or bra that you are wearing in it? x

In reply to: 7 weeks post op right breast still sitting high*?

    Menu

Hi hun your boobs can take up to six months to get to their finishing point so i wouldn’t worry about it right now. If you are worried about the push up bra thing then try not wearing them for a while to see if they shape changes 🙂 x

    In reply to: 325 uhp.

    Menu

They look fab hun 🙂 The heavy feeling will go eventually you just need to get used to having them on you x

In reply to: Safe to use roll on deodorant?

    Menu

Yeah it’s fine hun just don’t get anything near your incision and also try not to strain yourself by lifting arms too much when you’re not long post op x

In reply to: Strapping and drains?

    Menu

@billiejayne3 You’re not missing out hun the strapping just holds them in place for 7 days post op and then you have it removed on your first post op appointment with the nurse. I had Dr Traynor too and honestly I was thankful he doesn’t use either because I’ve seen so many horrible posts about the pain when having drains removed and skin being pulled off when strapping has been removed. Strapping and drains are surgeons choice. I think only one surgeon uses drains (don’t quote me on that for sure though). X

In reply to: hp.. partials.. difference?

    Menu

@newpaula Partials are placed partially under the muscle whereas unders are placed fully under the muscle. X

    In reply to: Infection???!!

    Menu

@sadematthews123 Have you been using any products near that area? It may be slight irritation. Give it a day or two and if it stays the same or gets worse book an appointment with a nurse x
