Not too bad thanks hun, it was a reop so seems less painful than my first BA. I just hate the sleeping upright, my bum and back is killing me and im ridiculously bloated and constipated… the joys lol xxx

i had 500cc hp overs on Thursday and also noticed this hun. quite tender to touch, its gone down alot now so guessing it was just swelling. how is it looking/feeling today xx

oh bless you, is it your first op? my first op was very painful recovery this time seems much easier for me. i was terrified of being put under too i dont think that ever gets un-scary however many time you dot it lol xx

aw thats lucky, i wish i went down sooner i was starving ha. if you wouldnt mind to forward it please hun that will be great. i dont want to wait until my post op meeting to find out! i have slept upright and will be keeping my bra on 24.7. I dont have a breast band for some reason! Did you have unders? Also how long do we keep these stockings on for lol??

Feel suprisingly good hun, haven’t had to take any pain killers I think because it’s a reop I have already got over the worse part maybe. X

Congrats hun, glad you had such a good experience- they look fab already. My admission was at 10am yesterday and didnt go down until half 3! I agree Dr Andrea was fab, such a nice straight talking surgeon. Just wandering did he come in to see you after your op? I was the last pateint to go down to theatre so he left as soon as i was done, I literally have no idea what he even done and as i was a reop I would have liked a bit of info as to what the problem actually was… i havent been given any info on what to do post op either if you could help??

I’m at fitzroy tomo at 10 with Dr andrea too 🙂 This will be my 2nd op. You will be fine hun excitment and nerves will take over but it will all go very quick. Get yourself an early night and make the most of sleeping comfortably! Xx

I currently have 495cc naturelle implants but have capsular contracture in one breast now so having to have them replaced… my original surgeon no longer works at mya so I was passed onto dr andrea, so far so good he’s really friendly and professional so that’s put me at ease. He has requested to do 500cc mentors as this will be less likely for my capsular contracture to reoccur. I have never even seen the mentor implants or discussed my options really so hoping to do that today and see the diff kind of implants.

Thanks for your concern hun, I always noticed my boobs were slightly diff sizes after my op which wasn’t the case beforehand, also my breast woth the cc never seemed to drop and fluff and sat higher on my chest. I didn’t really notice the pain until 5 months post op I thought it was just all part of healing process. Hope this helps xx

Oh no that’s really unfair and unacceptable hun, especially before you’ve even had your op, worry and stress is last thing you need. Im sure youll be fine! I couldn’t fault the service I received pre op and with my consultations etc. I was extremely happy and loved my results, just a shame I was unlucky and developed capsular contracture, im very disappointed in the service now I’m in need and not receiving the aftercare I paid for. My next step is to book a day off work just so I can go in person xx

I have grade 3 CC I was diagnosed over 18 months ago yet still find myself struggling to get my reop done with them as my surgeon has left the company which is obviously out of my control… it’s just a joke. I work 10 mins from the clinic so will be paying a visit if they continue to ignore me it’s so unprofessional I’ve never known anything like it. My dog gets better treatment at the vet xx

I have tried speaking to my PC who I only met yday which is ridiculous as I’ve been a mya patient for over a year now. I finally got through to my PC today who didn’t have a clue about anything I needed to know and has basically brushed me off to someone else now so I’m back at square 1 with no help from anyone at mya once again . My surgeon told me yday that I need to replace my naturelles with mentor implants as these are less likely for CC and even wrote in in my notes yet it’s still been declined? How can people sat in an office decide what is medically best for me when my surgeon has told me what I need and is willing to do it but you won’t let him… don’t surgeons know best??

Also I have been talking to a lady in my exact position who was offered work on 1 breast but has now been appoved for them both to be done who had her surgery last week, she had her naturelles replaced with mentors and even increased her size without paying a penny. So why is it ok to treat your patients differently and pick and choose who you help. I never had a bad word to say about mya and have stupidly recommended them to lots of friends… Unfortunately I got CC which was no ones fault yet the aftercare I’m receiving is disgusting.

I appreciate that 1 boob isn’t as bad as the other but the fact is it still has CC which doesn’t heal itself. Ive researched and spoke to suregons who have confirmed CC can only be treated with surgery.. if the tablets worked they would prescribe them for free and everyone would use them to prevent CC In the first place like the antibiotics u provide to prevent infection and painkillers to prevent pain? I don’t see the point of getting one boob fixed while waiting for the other to get worse then eventually getting the other fixed further down the line anyway… This is going to result in completely odd boobs healing at diff rates and double the healing time/time needed of work/trips to London etc. Your T&Cs need to be alot more clear. Also dr singh has already confirmed I have grade 3 CC in one breast so why does it need to be confirmed by back office… surely surgeon knows best? He has seen me several times now and examined me in person… yet it’s going to be the people in an office who merely look at a photo who make the final decision wether i am worthy of another op. Ridiculous.

It’s a disgrace sorry to hear what you’re going through, yours sounds even worse than mine – so do alot of other girls I’ve spoken to with problems- I’ve literally given up hope. I’ve recently started a new job so cant afford time off to recover else I would be ringing them everyday to fix me. I can’t believe they can leave patients like this. As soon as they get their money they lose all interest it’s unacceptable. Please keep me updated on solicitor I really hope things get sorted for u. And I hope girls do more research before investing in MYA and don’t rush the decision like I did. I don’t blame them or my surgeon for my issues but trusted them to fix it which so far they haven’t…

Sorry to hear what you going through chloe I’m in a very similar position. 13 months post op CC in both breasts but more advanced in one. I had my reop forms sent off ages ago but have heard nothing back and whenever I try and ring MYA I get no answers or simply ignored. Have u decided what u are going to do yet? I can’t get my head around them only wanting to operate on one breast it’s a joke x

Thanks girls it hasn’t been approved yet so might not even be getting the reop ..fingers crossed! It’s does look like CC hun but usually you have abit of pain or discomfort with it, would def book in to see your nurse just to confirm and put your mind at ease. Yeh I’m worried I’m going to have completely odd boobs if they only fix one.. doesn’t make sense to me yo do only one xx

I’m exactly same hun look fine in clothes and undies.. even the mirror is hardy noticeable but photos look alot worse! Is it painful? Yes CC is covered for reop… its quite a hard process to get one though alot of girls have said 🙁 and I have been told yday they will only operate on the one boob which I’m not thrilled about xx

Hard to say for definite hun but it def looks and sounds like CC to me 🙁 I am 1 year post op in 2 weeks and have recently found out I have CC too currently in the process of getting reop sorted. Let us know how you get on and good luck xx

No idea hun.. just a waiting game. I’m pushing it forward and seeing dr singh again in 2 weeks so hopefully that will speed things up. Can’t believe you have to wait until May just to see someone it’s a joke. I would keep calling and tell them it’s an emergency or yore getting worse, its not on! Dont want to scare you but the hard massaging is awful, Dr singh done it at my first appointment and it felt like he ruptured an implant I’m still in pain from it 4 days later seriusly hiping he doesnt put me through it again at next appointment xx

May?! That’s a joke.. why so long? Don’t want to scare you but the massaging was awful…my surgeon done it when I went to see him and honestly thought he was going to rupture an implant. That’s how they used to treat CC by squeezing so hard it would weaken the tissue.. its had to stop cause was making people face newer worse problems like ruptures!

I was suggested to pay £75 per month for meds that have 50% chance of working… told him I couldn’t afford to do that so he said to just massage at home for 3 months and hope they get better. I’m in agony can’t wait that long. Xx

I am grade 1-2 in one breast and grade 3 CC in the other Jill, I didn’t even realise there was a problem in the lower grade breast until my surgeon said so reckon you will be more than a grade 2 hun. Def get in to see your surgeon asap start the ball rolling. I’ve been told I have to sit back and wait 3 months.. not impressed xx

Thanks for info hun, very helpful. Yes the nurse did mention to me it may be resolved with meds, all will be revealed tomorrow hopefully.. i just hate the not knowing part! So many questions i want to ask but garuntee my mind will go blank tomorrow lol. My CC isn’t very noticeable atm but I fear if left untreated it can only get worse.. its just slightly higher than the other and firmer but not massively! That’s great news hun. Ive read on different sites that you have to be a certain grade to have the surgery corrected did that apply for you with MYA? I’d say I’m only a grade I or II max, don’t want to be ignored and have to wait for it to get any worse before they’re willing to fix it! I’m too scared to massage incase I make them worse but have read certain websites saying to do so.. so confusing knowing what’s right and wrong when it comes to the twins!! I will def be doing the mirror/muscle test tomorrow 🙂 I have overs- the pain isn’t unbearable but I don’t want to hang around until it gets worse. I love how positive you are about your re ops! Did you have to wait until you were grade IV CC before the reops? I’ve been doing lots of research and have read a few times its a long process xx

Yeah I think you defo known in yourself when something is up lauren. I’ve gone back to my sports bra and taking pain killers atm. Thankyou for reply.. i have similar symptoms, it’s harder and firmer then my other breast but not massively. She said it appears larger too as if is swollen but I honestly didn’t notice myself! It’s been aching recently- I only went to see her to find out about a lump in my other breast I’m so gutted. Going to ring MYA and get an appointment asap. I hope you get the answers you’re looking for hun it’s so stressful. Will have to keep me posted xx

hi hun, can kind of relate as i found a larger hard lump on friday in my breast under my scar. im 10 months post op and have an appoinment with my gp tonight so hopefully will clear things up abit. if not im making an appoinment with MYA asap. try not to worry too much i know its hard! will let you know what my doctore says this eve x

I’m sure I will get used to them soon the one thing I can defo say is I love them naked and in nice undies so not all doom and gloom lol 🙂 wouldn’t say I went too big laura, in fact I went for the smallest option offered to me and was previously a 32e before losing baby weight. Jade- I was a 32e then an empty 32c after losing baby weight. I wanted my 32 e back so was recommended and had 495cc overs with Dr Singh and currently wearing a 30G xx
