    PART 2

………Approximately 11.40, Mr Adamo came knocking on the door, and he was lovely!! He’s soooo nice  definitely uncle or grandad material!! haha, had a chat to him, and apparently I was the 5 patient to have a BA that day, with 8 altogether having it done!!! Wow!! He looked at my pre-op boobs, and started drawing all over me, (I have a picture of this hehe) I asked Mr Adamo about whether I could have the 410cc instead of the 380cc, and he said, it should be absolutely fine, only if they had been ordered though!! So I was wishing in my head that the 410cc had been ordered!! He then said I would probably be called down to Theatre about an hour later!

Meanwhile, another nurse came in (I forgot her name) and re did my blood pressure etc. Exactly one hour later at 12.40pm, the theatre nurse came to collect me. Oh girls who are on their period, it is fine to wear a tampon for the op! Just to let you know, because I was worried about this, and it was okay for me to wear one! So Kev walked with me (I was in my dressing gown) and we said goodbye at the theatre doors.

I walked into one section of the theatre and saw two nurses, they were just chatting to me about random things really. Then the Anaethetist took me into the main theatre, where I had to undo my scrubs and lie down on the bed. I was feeling very emotional now. Then Mr Adamo walked in with a big smile, and the Anaethetist was trying to distract me by talking about where I came from etc. but I sure did feel the needle going into my wrist. it burned, and it did hurt a little, but it was bearable! The nerves suddenley hit me and I became tearful (what a wimp), I was holding Mr Adamo’s hand all the way, and he was just telling me to think of happy things, and saying that I should be so excited, which I was, but the build up was so much!!

Then I could feel the Anaesthetic kicking in, Oh my word, its amazing!!!! I felt like I was flying!!! hahaha Next thing I know I’m being waken up in recovery by the nurse, and I think I started having a conversation with her, but I really cannot remember!! I think I was waffling on! I was shivering so much though, I have never shivered so much in my life, but apparently thats normal, because your body is trying to reach its normal temperature, so they put this heater thing under the quilts, which blew warm air, it was lovely! The nurse lifted my sheets and I took a peek at my new boobs!! I was so happy, but from my angle, they didn’t look big!!! But they assured me, that I had had it done!! hahahah. It was now 1.40pm.

At 2pm they took me back to my room where Kev was waiting, I could tell he was so worried, but I was just like, ‘is that it???’ hahaha! My chest felt a bit heavy, but I couldn’t feel that much to be honest! The nurse gave me some sips of water, and I was allowed to eat something in one hour! Then the nurse left after she took my blood pressure.

Kev was too scared to look at my boobs but I made him look!! He thought there was going to be blood everywhere, but it was absolutely fine!! He was like ‘wow, they are big!!’ but from where I was looking, they looked small still! Then Kev passed me a mirror, and let me see, OH MY WORD they are huge!!! But it was probably mostly swelling?? I Couldn’t believe the size! They did look fake, but I had only just had them operated on!! hahaha…………

    PART 3

On hour later I was allowed a cup of tea, toast and biscuits. I drank my tea, but only managed to eat 2 bites out of a slice of toast, because I felt sick. I needed a wee, so the nurse had to come in a check on me. All fine. I decided to go to sleep for a little bit. At about 4pm, I managed to eat a whole slice of toast and a chocolate digestive.

Mr Adamo came in at about 4.30pm and see how I was doing, I was a little worried because my right boob was slightly bigger than my left, this is normal, so Mr Adamo said. Also on the inside of my boobs, it felt like a little dip in the skin, this is normal too whilst the skin adjusts. Another thing, was the I could not feel my left nipple what so ever, but my right nipple had never felt so sensitive before, everytime something touched, I felt it alright!!! This is normal too, but it just shows that you have to treat them as individuals! Good thing though was that I have no bruising! And Mr Adamo said that they were better than normal! yay!!
I took a few after pics too!! My boobs felt really hard!! and they look really high!!!!

So at 7pm I was ready to leave the hospital. I put on my sports bra, with lots of help from Kev, I was wearing a 34DD, it did feel a little more comfy, but Mr Adamo said I do not need to wear one (I’m not wearing one now as I wirte this, as it is more comfy without one) The nurse has just rang ,and she said I have to wear a sports bra 24/7, but I don’t think I will wear one 24/7 because Mr A, did advise that I didnt need to!
Anyway I put my top back on, and seriously I didnt think they looked big at all, I was wearing a baggy top though! The nurse came in and gave me a booklet about my implants, and all the risks that comes with them, not sure why you don’t recieve this book before you have it done, but its a reference to look at. She gave my my co-codemol, and my antibiotics, and also took out my canula from my wrist, which was a great relief because I could feel the needle really badly!

So off we went to the Muswell hill hotel, which was lovely

so…..day one (today) had a great nights sleep last night, had a full english breakfast this morning at the hotel  Boobs are feeling very very tight, and it feels like I’ve been slouching ALL Day, but please ladies try to stretch your neck and back, becasue the nurse just said that it won’t do any good for your back or boobs if you don’t sit up straight, but I’m just worried that my stitches will tear if I sit up too much. But I have had a little pain today. It feels as if I have a really tight corset on just around my boobs!

Anyway ladies, I definitely think I have written a whole essay here, but I just wanted to get EVERYTHING in, so that you know what the experience was like for me!!!

Please do not hesitate to ask questions too!! You probably dont have any questions after that though! hahaha!!

Good luck EVERYONE who is waiting for theirs! Seriously, nothing to worry about, but try and enjoy the whole experience!! I am so happy, but I think I will be happier when my boobs fall and soften a bit more!!

    Best wishes!

    Love Wendy

So glad that everything went okay for you, and guess what…. i was in room 304 !!!!! Just next door to where you were. Now take it easy hun, and drink loads of water, as that will help to flush the ga out of your system. Also try not to do anything at all , it’ll help you heal quicker.

    Good morning girls!!!!

Oh my word, it took me 30 mins to get out of bed to go for a wee. And I have never felt so much burning!!! It felt as if my implants were going to fall out through my stitches!!!! Really hurts, but have got back into bed now, which has eased the burning! Still no bruising, which is good! Nipple sensation is back to normal! I tried my sports bra again, but it just hurts, and digs in, so I’m not sure what to do about that!!

Thank you for all your lovely messages!! I just hope I haven’t spoilt it too much for you ladies who are waiting to have your BAs!!! You’ll love the experience! hahaha emma, no gymnastics yet!! hahaha! But my bf has been a bit ‘frustrated’ hahaha!
Of course Sara, loads of pics for you to see!! I think I will wait a week so you can see what they looked like each day, and see how they have ‘evolved’ through time!! haha. Leanne, try not to be too scared, think of it as a holiday! haha, it does feel like you’re on a mini break though! haha Rio, yes it was rather like a novel! But I think I still managed to miss bits out!! Not long for you neither Kelly!! Good luck girls!!! And happy healing to you girlies too!!!

    Hey louisa!

Aww thanks hun, it took me a while to write it all down!

oops, sorry I must have wrote the wrong thing in my post! No, the 410cc were ordered hun, Mr Adamo was able to put the 410cc in!! So I have the larger implants! I’m not sure exactly what size I am in bra size, because I wore my 34DD sports bra on the day of the op and yesterday, but the bra was really uncomfortable, it just dug into my stitches, and my boobs don’t quite fill out the cup in the bra, so I am unsure what bra I am meant to be wearing!

Good morning Wendy, well i know it’s nearly afternoon lol :)

The mornings really are the worst time of day, physically trying to get out of bed oooooo i remember it well!!!
Try to use your stomach mussles rather than your arms, to pull yourself up. Sound like you have the wrong size sports bra, you probably need the next band width up (most girls do because of the swelling). Mr Adamo doesn’t seem to mind if you don’t wear one tho’ so just do what you feel more comfortable. I found my boobs quite heavy to start with, guess i never really had anything before, so wore the sports bra. I am now wearing a M&S secret support vest in bed instead now, they’re about

    Hiya Kellyw,
125cc-150cc is classed as a cup size so 30cc is not a big difference. Always go bigger its hard to describe but after my first BA what was huge for a few years became normal and I wanted bigger. It sounds mad I know !!! However its what you want at the end of the day and what you are comfortable with. I say go bigger buts that my opinion..as you do get soooo use to them after a few years!!!
2nd BA its been 3 and 1/2 months and i’m getting use to the size!!! arrrrrgh better get saving…joking

Wendy:- It will be good when you can update us with your size after swelling with the 410ccs as there has been a lot of interest on the forum whether to go for 380 or 410cc??? They Seem popular sizes at the moment!!

    Hi Kellyw,
Yes have a think???410cc is not massive however it all depends on your bust size, stats etc…if you are a D cup and have a 410cc then its a different story than having an A cup with a 410cc.
You decide at the end of the day regarding size its whatever you are 100% happy with and what look you want to achieve.
I just wanted my moneys worth so I had the maximum cc’s possible with both BA’s that could be fitted in!!! What am I like!!!

All the best, any questions whatsoever just ask more than happy to help

Just think of those new boobies!!!

Dont forget to add your story on here after BA as it really helps everyone who is nervous…Wendy’s was a really lovely story and Its nice to know it all went well.

    Morning ladies!!
Wow soooo many messages!! I’m sorry I did not log on yesterday, I just wanted to sleep all day. I managed to eat some doritos, but then I was sick about an hour afterwards, so they didnt stay down. I then blacked out for a few seconds, but Im hoping this is all to do with the anaethestic?? Have any of you girls felt sickness when you had your ba’s???

Kev made me some soup last night though, which settled my tummy. I’ve just sat up in bed, a lot of burning sensation in my left boob, not as bad as yesterday.

Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love my new boobs, but the pain, burning and the sickness is distracting me away from the excitement! I was hoping to be right as rain pretty much after the first day or so!!!

Jacqui- Thanks hun, yes I am only lifting myself up using my stomach muscles, you get used to doing it after a while! And yes I agree the first 3 days are probably the worst!!! but thank you, I hope it does get better!!!!

Sara- Aww hun, you’ll have a wonderful time, and I’m sure your boyfriend will take good care of you, after all they want us to recover just as fast as we do, because they want to practice more gymnastics!! haha!!
    Not long now hunnie!!!

Bex-hope you had a fantastic time in the sun!!! Bet you’re a bronzed babe now!!! Thanks for your lovely FB message!!! Really kind of you!! You’ll have your boobs to look forward to when you get back, not long for you neither! bigsmile:

Emma- Yes I totally agree, I am happier that I went for the 410cc, because every now and again, I keep thinking, ‘they’re not that big are they?’ did you find this on your first one?? I know, we pay loads for our vanity, hahaha, but we’re worth it!!! hahaha

Mads- Aww I’m pleased I’m not the only one not wearing a sports bra, I swear the bras do dig into the stitches!! I think I will get a cami too! Where did you get yours?? Jacqui got hers from m&s so I will check there for one!

Louisa-of course, I will let you know what size I am as soon as I am measured!! my stats are slightly different to yours pre-op though, I’m 5ft 3inches, size 6-8 in clothes, and size 32 b in bras. I’ve had the 410cc, so hoping for a DD cup?? Although I think I’m way smaller than that!! I think I look more like a C??? But I will have to wait and see until I get measured properly! Good luck with yours hun!! I am very happy with my boobs!! I love them!!! But it is just the burning and the pain that is stopping me from enjoying them at the moment, and also because I felt really sick last night, that didnt help neither!!!

Yo- Hey hun, my stats are just written above hun, what are your stats at the moment?? I personally would push for the bigger ones, because there isn’t too much difference in either (30cc) and I keep thinking I’m not massive, i’m in proportion, but not huge!! Which is great!!! I will be honest, they do look a bit fake at the mo, but they are bound too! Plus Mr Adamo would not put anything in, that he wasn’t going to be proud of too!! I definitely have NOT regretted the 410cc!!

Kellyw- I totally agree with emma!!I went for the 410cc, because that was the largest size I could have for my body and height, seriously there isn’t much in it neither only 30cc! Not even one whole cup size, it just makes a fuller cup! It’s definitely about what you want out of it hun! You havent got long now hun, so let us know what you decide!!

Any of you ladies having back ache?? Or feel like you couldn’t stretch your back?? I feel like I’m getting round shoulders!!!

Good luck all you ladies waiting!! And happy healing to all you post-op ladies!!

    Hey Wendy!

Glad all went well, don’t worry about the sickness and dizziness, the Friday after my Op was by far the worst day for me. Got up in the morning and felt this agonising pain in my wounds and was really scared! I felt like I was going to collapse and spent the first half hour of my morning with my head hovering over the toilet, although wasn’t actually sick. Its just the anaethestic and the morphine wearing off but I felt really scared too because I was home alone :-(
My back hurt for the first week or so aswell, couldn’t stretch when I got out of bed in the morning because couldn’t lift my arms above my head and was walking like I was carrying a plank of wood under each arm haha.
It will get much better. I doubt very much you are only a c cup. Mine have really settled now and I’m still a 32dd/e depending on what shop I go to.
Send me some pics if you don’t mind hun, be nice to see how fabulous they look!
I even went out for a friends birthday last night and there was a lot of crazy dancing involved and I’m fine today :big smile:
Just know your limits, your body will tell you when you’ve pushed it to far.
Also you may not have any bruising yet, after a few days mine started to show and I looked like I’d been in a nasty punch up haha. Don’t let it concern you, its just not overly pretty! You may have not even had stitches for your wounds, I didn’t have any, just steri strips! Its amazing what they can do now!

Take care of yourself hunni and rest up! Don’t do anything strenuous for a while.

As for the shrinking… 2 girls at my gym who had it done said they shrank once swelling went down, which is obviously to be expected, but then they apparently shrank again after another 6 months or so… Maybe it depends on your body and how hard you weight train etc, but it seemed a bit strange to me?!

hey wendy! loved ur story, it makes me sooo nervous though!!
How are things now then hun? Are your boobs settling down at all yet? You said one seemed bigger than the other at first aswell – have they evened out now?
Just been for my first consultation today and booked to see the surgeon in a couple of weeks for a consultation with him! I can’t wait for that but I was so nervous today just meeting the patient coordinator and I don’t even know why!
Does the 410cc not feel too big then? I really want to be a large D/DD so think I would probably have to go for a similar sized implant to you.Sorry I’m asking you loads of questions there’s just so many things to think about!

Course gilries, I will get some pics up asap! had quite a lot of burning in my left boob today, and I have noticed a slight bit or blood on my dressing, it looks like old blood, so hopefully nothing to worry about?!

Jo Worrow- Ah, It’s great to hear that you went through the same feelings as me! Obviously not in the fact that you felt ill, but because I know that I’m not the only one!!! ooooh get you, and your crazy dancing!!! You go girl, cannot wait to do that too!!!! hahaha, yes that is a great way to describe it! Planks of wood under your arms!!! haha, thank you for aall your advice hun
Also were your nipples constantly erect??????

Yo- Cannot believe they shrink twice! Well looks like I’ll have to start saving for another ba then!! haha, Maybe it could be because of weight loss too if they go to the gym regularly? I must admit, its frustrating not doing much exercise whilst your body is resting, I don’t want to put on loads of weight!!

Kelly- Thanks hun, yes go with the larger ones, you might think they look fake at first, but don’t forget there’s swelling to take into account! Also your body will get accustomed to the implants so you’ll get used to them easily I think!

Jmc- Hey hun, congrats on booking to see the surgeon!!! Try not to be nervous hun, enjoy the experience hun!!! Saying that, it is a nerve-racking experience, but it is exciting too!!!! My boobs have evened out more now, still burning sensation in my left boob, which is a pain!! and very uncomfortable! They are big, and I am very happy with them!! I just went out to tesco, and bought a new sports bra, and it is so much more comfortable than the asda ones, typical because I’ve bought 4 asda bras, and none of them are any good!! And yes, I will send some pics a soon as I can hun

Ive not been on here for a week, so only just read your story!!! wow and what a story it was. How are you feeling today? I had mine done on the 2nd sept at highgate mr adamo etc… My experience was pretty much identical to yours ( right done to not finding the reception staff that friendly either!) lol.
I did find it very very painful for atleast 10days. I couldnt dress myself etc… I have been wearing my sports bra day and night, and its driving me mental. It really digs in to my stitches, and im constantly pulling it from under my boobs. I also was in ayony with my right boob as Mr adamo said it was lying on a nerve. Have you still not got any bruising? I was completely black from my nipples right down to just slightly above my ribs.
I can also feel a slight dip on my right one, so thats normal?
Glad to hear you are able to get a full rest, i def think you need it.
Ive got 2 kids under 2, and my partner could only have one day off with me, so had to try and cope with the kids. But on the 2nd day i got stuck in bed! lol, no joke i had to call my mom and get her to come up, just to push my head up to get me out of bed.
I still cant sleep on my side, and thats driving my mad.

    Happy heeling babe

    Hi ladies!

Awww thanks hostie, good luck with yours!! You will not look back honestly!!!!

Lucy-I haven’t been on here for ages neither!!! Thank you for you message  haha, yes youre right actually, we did have practically the same experience!!! haha. Awww, I have had some pain for the first week, but then the pain went quite quickly, but the thing is Lucy hun, is that I have not been wearing a bra at all!! Just nipple covers!! It is sooooo much more comfy not wearing a bra! Mr Adamo said I dont need to wear one, it allows the boobs to drop naturally. Thats the same reason as why I’m not wearing one, because they dig in my stitches!!!! Try not wearing a bra hun, it might actually help??
I haven’t had any bruising now, absolutely nothing, but hun, the bruising will go, as with any bruises, also the dip that I had in my right boob, went about 5 days post op, they are really evening out now! I love them!!
hahaha thats funny, because I needed to have a few pushes to get me out of bed!! But I was frustrated with feeling like an invalid!!! So I tried to get back into normal everyday life as quickly as I could!! But Because I work at Next, the next sale has just been and gone, so I think I over did it when I was working, plus I had to go back to uni 2 days after my op, so I may have done a little bit too much!! But now it is 1 week and 4 days, and I feel absolutely fine!! I haven’t slept on my side yet, as I am a little scared to be honest, but I can put all my clothes on, and have showers (without getting my stitches wet) so I am pleased I am recovering quickly, but I’m also scared that I have pushed my body to much too soon, if I could have rested more then I so would have!!!!

Happy healing to you too hun!!!!

    Are you on facebook??

    Wend
Also do you have any before after pics??? I have some that I am going to email to a few of the girls!!

I had my Ba done by Mr Singh on the 28th august, and he has done an amazing job, someone said that he cuts too deep but i can honestly say im only 2 weeks 4days post op and my cuts are already healing really well and you can hardly see them already!!! My boobs look really natural and so so good, he did a terrific job, i can’t praise him enough as you’ve probably noticed, lol. He really put me at ease before my op aswel, i told him i was worried about the pain after, he said he would make it as pain free as possible and he definitely kept his word because i didn’t have any pain at all when i came round only a bit of an ache later on in the night. But anyway sorry to ramble on, he’s an amazing surgeon, you will be fine best of luck for 23rd oct.

    Hi Melissa,
All the best with your BA.
Mr Singh did my re-augmentation in June. Fab surgeon and I’m so pleased with my boobs. My scars are neat and are healing nicely. I found Mr Singh really listened to me and understood and gave me the look I was wanting to acheive ,and they are just what I wanted size wise and look wise!!. I will use Mr Singh again for any other proceedure I may have in the future as i was so impressed with him.

Thanks Emma thats made me feel a lot more positive to hear your story :) I felt the same – that Mr Singh listened very well to what i wanted from the procedure etc its just hearing a few things on here about the scarring and that he goes for the false look did start to worry me as that is the complete opposite to what i want. I am really looking forward to it now – only got

    Hi Melissa,
Glad your feeling more positive now. There will always be positive and negative comments about surgeons , experiences etc …Just base your decisions on how you feel and what you want. I was 100% confident, happy and really comfortable with Mr Singh and found my whole experience brilliant.

    All the best
