Hello, I am 5ft 2, my original bra size was 36AA, I had Dual Plane Breast Augmentation 285 cc High Profile Implants and now am a 36C. It fits my frame perfectly and was a bit worried at start went too big, but now they have settled was the perfect choice.

In reply to: HELP ME CHOOSE MY CC SIZE

    Menu

Hello, i 5’4 and size 8, really petite chest width. I was given the same 275 / 300cc to choose from, i was so so so nervous on the run up to my surgery as i went with the 300 on my surgeons recommendation that going under the muscle they would be natural looking and the difference between the two is literally 25ml. It really helped me to actually measure out 25ml of water into a cup to see what i was driving myself nuts over lol!! I am now 6 weeks post op with 300cc high profile under the muscle and they really do look amazing and so proportionate to my body. Seriously, i was so concerned about being too big, but they do not look big at all once they are under your muscle / tissues. I actually think they look quite modest and dare i say it, i probably couldve gone a bit bigger.
25ml difference between the two will not be noticeable in your body, dont stress about it just go with what you think is best xx

In reply to: 215cc 4ft 11 105lbs- will this be too small?

    Menu

Hello, i have just bought some bras from M&S as i can ditch the post op bra finally as of next week! I am a full 32C, honestly properly filling cups and not needing those super padded bras is just the best feeling. I am super happy with the size, they look very in proportion and not too big at all.
Recovery was a breeze to be honest! First night was a bit rough as the tube they put down your throat during surgery had scratched my throat, which gave me a tickly cough… and wow coughing hurt so much! I thought i was going to cough the implants out lol. But i didnt take anything stronger than paracetamol the first couple of days, i really had no pain at all, just tightness and a bit pully at the incision sites when moving around. I had 2 weeks off work too, went back into the office on the 3rd week, i was absolutely fine, aslong as you dont do any heavy lifting you will be fine honestly, i was very surprised how quickly i felt back to normal.
The only thing i would keep in mind as its ok to not like how they look at first, no one warned me about this and i was freaked out at my 1 week post op with the nurse as when she took the bra off, they looked like 2 cones on my chest, i fainted because i was so shocked lol (think it was the most excitement the nurse had all day!). But give them a few weeks and they will soften and settle down, but dont be alarmed if they are a weird shape the first week or two.
Feel free to ask anything else as i too was very very nervous! But you will be fine and very well looked after. Where are you having your surgery? Xxx

Hi Lucy! Thanks for your reply! Do you know what bra size you are now with the 300cc implants? How was your recovery? It’s a little over a week until my surgery and I’m getting nervous 😬 I’ll have two weeks off work so hopefully that’ll be enough time?! Xxx

Hi lovely, i am similar weight and started with nothing, very petite frame, my chest width was so small i had to go for ultra high profile implants as needed them as narrow as possible. I went for 300cc, and i’m now 6 weeks post op and they are perfect! They are so natural looking as i went under the muscle, when i have clothes on they just look the same as i did before in a super padded bra. I was worried they’d be too big, but going under the muscle and once they are in your body they definitely look smaller! I was torn between 275 and 300 before my op, but now so glad i went for the 300 as i feel i’d of been a bit underwhelmed by the 275.
Go with whatever your surgeon suggests as they do know best, but going under the muscle, they are pretty much guaranteed to look natural as the muscle pushes them down. Lots of luck xxx

Hi! I’m due to have my BA in two weeks but still undecided on size. I’m similar stats to you and am due to have 215cc under muscle. I’m not sure if this will be too small or if I should get 250cc. Have you decided on what size implant you want yet?

You might want to check out Harley Street surgeons, as some of them cater to more defined, high-fashion rhinoplasty results. Dr. De Silva and Dr. Julian De Silva are quite well-known in London, though they tend to lean toward balanced enhancements. Dr. Bashar Bizrah is another name that comes up often for more structured rhinoplasties Space Waves

I have appt Friday to confirm size – he’s advised 400+ overs – I’m 5ft8 and broad so he said I need larger ones but it scares me so much they’ll be too big

I really trust him though, how was surgery and how are you feeling? I’m so happy to see you’re loving them already!!!

Hi Chanelle, i’ve not got any photos of mine to share, however i am 3 weeks post op after having 300cc high profile under the muscle. I was also a 32A pre surgery, not really filling the A cups though! I am 5ft 3 and petite frame. I am now measuring a 32D!! And i am so so happy with the size. They look proportionate, but lovely and full for my frame. They also look so natural as they are under the muscle, still lots of settling to do as they are only 3 weeks old lol, but they are looking great so far! Xx

    Hi Grace,

I had Dr Samouris and I’m so so happy. He was great. My breasts are a bit higher and I’m really happy with the shape, they are definitely lifted but not as round or perky as with implants. I had a massive asymmetry (1kg of weight difference!) so that was my main aim to have more symmetry and reduce the size and I’m so happy with results. I had something called red breast syndrome which is apparently if it gets too hot (I went to italy for a wedding) but it’s quite rare and going down with time.

Hi Ruth and Lucy, I have a reduction (no implants) booked for mid April this year with Dr Samouris.
I wondered if either of you wanted to just share a bit about how you found the whole procedure?
I think I’m most concerned about how my breasts will look after – did you notice they were definitely higher?
I originally wanted an uplift with implants but that’s now changed and I’m happy to be doing a reduction.
I’d just love some honest feedback about how things will look after the procedure, during healing but also in the long run? If you wouldn’t mind sharing!

In reply to: Can’t decide on 275cc or 300cc?!

    Menu

Little story of my journey. Had surgery April 2024.

I went 275cc.. apparently the number your surgeon offers in the middle is what they think you will suit the most. I got offered 250,275,300.
I wanted a natural (non false) look, I do not personally like super round cleavage and aimed for the most natural that would suit my figure.
I’m 5’5 9.1/2 stone., like to go to the gym and just wanted something that suited me and my shape. To be able to not wear a bra with backless tops and be confident in a non padded bikini was my ultimate goal. I was forever padding out bikinis etc and would NEVER not wear a bra.
    I was a 32A/B before and now a 32D to DD now.
I went with275cc round textured under the muscle.
Mr Traynor was my surgeon. Very to the point and what I prefer tbh. I didn’t want a friend I wanted someone to be straight with me, he listened to what I asked for and took my weight height etc. . I have heard some people find some consultants arrogant, impersonal, lack empathy. I work with consultants so I understand their personalities and how you can approach them but it’s his expertise I wanted not his friendship. I know he is known for being straight talking which I’m guessing most of them will be. Just more of a heads up if going for your first consultation lol. He was lovely and I did manage to have a bit it banter with him and I felt he listened yo what I wanted.
Following the surgery they were quite swollen and high which is expected and then I would say maybe week 2 they started to drop and fluff.
Because I went under the muscle I was sore and could not pull myself up or pick my son up, this was hard and I did need a little longer off work. I took 2 weeks off. I also had to reduce down at the gym with upper body work for a good 6+ weeks and gradually started to introduce it again.
Check ups all went well and then had my review with surgeon few months in.
He said they should last me a lifetime because I went for an appropriate size and didn’t go stupid, I did debate going 300 but I did panic thinking everyone is saying they wish they went bigger but I just reminded myself that I never came in looking for big boobs, I came looking for breasts that suit me and are natural. I’m 100% glad i went with the middle number and love them! They look so natural and suit ME.
I’m now a year down the line and still loving them!

Pics attached from before and at 8weeks. I know seeing pictures of others helped me massively make my decision so wanted to give you that to help.

In reply to: Pricing and what happens in 10years time?

Hi. Just undergone by first replacement after 12 years. First procedure with MYA cost 3.5k then and. 7k this time around. I did have capsulectomy in one though which added a bit on. I was lucky to get 12 years out of them. What I would say to you is.. and I did get told this at the time.. is that getting implants is a life long commitment. Although it’s the last thing you want to think about now is ten years in the future but it comes around so quick. And for many it’s earlier than ten years a revision is needed and then some go longer. I spent two years toying with if I got them replaced or not. I’m 44 now and in a total different mindset than when I was 32 but I imagined waking up without them and thought… I’m just not ready yet so replacement it was . This will be the last time though and hopefully I get another 12 years. I think it would be safe to say you need to add on at least 50% increase to current costs to what’s they will be in ten years time. It will possibly be more. It is absolutely a life long commitment . Many don’t worry and think they will just deal with it at the time as your financial position in ten years will be different to what it is now. Thankgod for interest free credit cards which I put half of mine on. Lots to consider I know x

I’ve also been up and down this last week. I have a bit of discomfort when standing and I feel my posture is completely off which is causing my back to ache – also the sleeping position I struggle with – I’ve been having to sleep on a recliner chair but my lower back is really aching now. I also experience the gravity thing, you’ve described it perfectly! I’m going for my check up on Monday, i feel I just need reassurance all is ok and I’m healing well. I’m taking the codeine only when needed – like you i feel capable one minute and then the next I’m exhausted and I’ve clearly over done it. And the laxitives are a god send!!! Keep me updated with how your check up goes 😊

    Menu

When i first arrivee there is a couple of forms to complete at reception when checking in, one of them being a menu of food choices for after the op! I was then asked for a urine sample. After this i was shown to my room where I was left to change into the gown etc then the anesthetist popped in to talk me through everything. I did feel like I was repeating my medical history over and over again to different people which was exhausting. Shortly after seeing the anesthetist I was taken for surgery. My admission was at 10 and I was taken for surgery about midday. There’s a lot going on in the run up though so the time passes quickly. Good luck, you will be fine. Just take it easy when coming round after the GA, I felt very groggy and faint but the staff at the Harley Hospital were brilliant in calming me down and looking after me.

Hi Amy, glad you also got looked after – they are great. I’m so happy I went with Dr. Mileto, tbh my recovery has been very up and down – days where I’m laid in bed it doesn’t hurt or no discomfort, but if I get up and do a few things I think I can overdo it a bit! Do you feel like when you get up gravity feels like they are being pulled off your chest? I’ve noticed now being day 5 that the discomfort isn’t as bad and I’m not taking any pain meds due to the fact I’ve discovered that codeine makes me itch all over my body: I’ve also had a bit of a hard time going to the toilet but laxitives sorted it! How are you feeling now lovely? My chest feels tight today (day 5) but no pain and I’ve got my wound check up on Friday 🙂

    Did this ever go right?
I’m 11 weeks post op after reaugmentation I went for slightly bigger implants as had a capsulectomy in my left breast so was advised to go bigger due to removal of scar tissue.
I have exactly the same sensation high in my cleavage as though the pocket is too big for the implant and it’s moving!
