The anasethic was a nice feeling that was the bit i was scared of ,i even filled up on the table ,but i can honesly say i would do it all again. The result of ba mean nothing when your so scared but try and enjoy the experiance its in my option a nice one .A little advice try and eat breakfast in the time given because if your last down its a long time without food.
Let me know how it goes xx

itll be over before you know, and youll wonder what u were so worried about! trust me

Hi,
It is perfectly reasonable to feel nervous! You are going to go through something major, which carries risks (sorry if it scares you) and its going to be putting your body through trauma (its what I would call it). I was really nervous until I actually went down to be prepped for theatre. Then I was really calm. I felt safe and felt at ease with the scrub nurse and the anaethnatist (not sure correct spelling). I am now 5 days post op and feeling ok, even though am still not allowed to do anything. Need to let my tummy heal itself! they won’t let anything happen to you. As with Sarah I myself had never been under a general before. But it really was fine and I never had any sickness with it afterwards. My body just shook for about an hour!
Good luck, I have every confidence that once you are at the hospital you will be fine

Hi Lilybon,
Dr Chantasarak did a tummy tuck on me last Tues and I am thrilled with the results. He has done a wonderful job. I didn’t notice until this morning that I did have swelling. Am feeling ok in myself. Just not being able to bend at the back has been causing me to feel stiff! But I have a wonderful husband and he has been looking after me well! I think my son is a little frustrated as he wants me to pick him up, but I am unable to just yet! I am going to have my dressing taken off on Wed (which is not really too far away) and I can’t wait. My clothes atm don’t look right on me, seem too big! Lol. And that’s with the corset on! Will be weird when I have taken that off!
Claire x
Lol Alana! Thats sounds a bit ominous, but we know what you talking about!
I am going to see Laura on Wed and then Dr Chan a week Wed, and I haven’t even seen what my tummy looks like, but I have a really good feeling about it! He was unsure of whether he could do anything with the muscle at the very top of my tummy, but from what I can tell he has managed to put that back in place too! No more children for me. I am looking to go and have a BA in about 12 or so months time!

Everything is free apart from the surgery itself, including 2 consultations and the aftercare
get booked in!!
Hi mazzy_i
I had my BA with Mr Adamo last Wednesdy and had 460cc overs. They are still swollen a high but already a nice shape and I absolutely love them! Also he told me one o my breast is slightly bigger but not too much so he used the same implants for both sides. I trusted him in 100% and have no regrets. Hi did amazing job,my boobs are big and just perfect.
Trust him hun!
I was 32b, 5ft3, 8.5 st,size 8
complety filling 34DD sports bra (I think 34E would fit better!)
Can send you some pics if you like
xxx
I had Mr Adamo on Wednesday too and thought he was amazing!
He also said that my right breast was slightly bigger than my left but not by a lot and with the implants in, you would notice the size difference even less.
I had 525cc overs…they look big but not particularly fake at all!
I heard unders look more fake though cos they don’t drop?!?!….i don’t know though..but im rele pleased with mine…he did a really good job
x x
I have him this wednesday 22 july.. i’m very nurves.. but mr Adamo is great… if you have oncerns i advice you to mak an appoinment and get your worries outtt. i saw him like 3 times , becauase i didnt know what size to choose from i’ve finally made a decions on theirhter 340cc or 380cc i have made ma mind on telilling him i want 380 cc .. always choose the second biggest recomented as they may b too small, this is what some one told me thats had a ba b4 twice. xxx good luck
i also had mr adamo and my ba is on 5th aug…im going for 410 overs and im also a 32b going to a 32dd…i think you should trust him but have another consultation if ur unsure…unders and overs and even implant sizes are not the same for every1, it all depends on ur size, structure etc…so i would trust him as hes seen and done 100s of BAs….i also have my right boob slightly bigger but he said that would not be noticable at all afterwards….
I GOT HIM TOMORROW VERY NURVES HEY.. BUT HES A LOVLY PERSON AND A GREAT SERGEON..
hi , had my ba with dr adamo almost 5 years ago now and was a 32c and went up to a 32f with 500 cc overs. Bak then I went for so many consultations and found him to be the best and I put my trust in him.after a week of qhite severe pain I was absolutly thrilled with my results .
I love my breasts altho I do agree ripling is less noticable with under the muscle, some of my friends have those kind so we have discussed it,With me you can feel it but not see it and its very slight. A fantastic surgeon and a fabulous result.still very happy . Go for it !!!
Yeah definatly put your complete trust in Mr Adamo….i had my BA yesterday with him and cant praise him enough…..hes been doing it for so long and done so many he knows exactly what hes talking about and what would suit you…..im not even 24 hours post op and im so so so pleased with the result!! he picked my size as i wasnt sure what size i wanted so based on my body shape etc i got 380 overs and they are gorgeous!! i just cant believe they are mine….still swollen and a bit sore but i love them already! and as far as i know as long as you have enuff breast tissue to cover them you wont see the implant. hth xx
Hi
I think that girls are getting younger who have ba , but lots of them have it just because they wont big boobs .But i think if you need them doing after having children then go for it. Bear in mind because they are surpose to last 10 years you might wont another one when your 28.If i was realy young and needed ba i would get it done.good luckxx
Hi Megz
I think when you go for your first consultation, they match you up with a surgeon, based on what you want and what your personality is like also. So if you tell the patient co-ordinator what you have told us, they will bare that in mind and make sure you won’t have that problem. It is getting more common for younger ladies to have it done, so the surgeons will be used to it. You are an adult after all!!
Enjoy your BA!! x
hi megz,
im 19 and had my op 4 days ago. theres a loada girls on here that are 18/19 that have had it done. so dont worry about it.
the only problem is that we’ll have a longer committment than other older women, i.e were gna have to have more ops to replace the implants.
sarah xx
thanks every one for the info.can i also ask bout recovery, how many days till u can lift things.just slightly nervous as i have 3 year old daughter and 6month old son.my bf works and cnt realy take time off as he earns the money that keeps the roof over our head.my mum n dad have offerd for me n kiddies 2 stay round there 4 a week so they can help out.
I think taking up your parents offer would be good, as you won’t want to be lifting things for the first few days at least!
I’m 19 and hoping to have mine done at the end of Aug/September, so if you want to be boob-buddies or whatever its called, I’m happy to give you my email address!
I haven’t experienced anyone who has been biased because of my age yet, but I’ll let you know if I do!
I’ll still be here
I had a consultation on Friday, going back to see Mr Singh in a week and a half and then hopefully I’ll have them done in September. It feels so much more likely after the consultation, you’ll love it! Do you know what size you want to go too?
Hi
i had my BA 5th June an im 19.. i do not think its to young as long as you are totally sure about it! and i agree with sarah the only downside is that we have a longer comitment with them but they are supposed to last 10 years.. my PC also said they can last longer and getting them replaced is sometimes just down to personal choice xx
well with the PC they just ask you about your health etc and ask you what kind of procedure you want and what you want to achieve. they do not prod around lol so dont worry they won’t even touch you or ask you to take your clothes off, its only the surgeon who checks you.
they show you before and after pics, if youre going for a BA they would show you an implant and let you feel it and ask you what sezi you want and would recommend you a certain surgeon depending on your answers and then book you an appointment with the surgeon to try on some implants under your clothes and talk about what to do next and choose what cc you want and procedure.
ok thanks for the info.do you have any rough idea of wots the most cup sizes they will let u go up and if everything go’s fine in the consultaion i will have 2 wait a long time for the op or can that be booked shortly afta?
the surgeon will let you know what size you can go up to by measuring your current breast and also something to do with your breast tissues. you can book your surgery on the day but depends on what dates are available and also if your flexible with the dates they give you
my bf was like that wen i told him about having a ba and when i had to have a male presant in the room for my birth.stupid arnt they lol.but seriosly theres only 3 options. 1- you look around at other places. 2-you llok at going to leeds, btbh its far away and you wont want to travel post op in pain for ages.3-you explain to him that most of the worlds best surgeons are men and that tho he may see youre breasts in a sexual way surgeons dont and its just a job to them.i know wot its like bein unhappy with ure boobs and all i can say is do wot makes you happy and and have ure surgery wear u want coz its ur body.hope this sorta helps .also congrats on the wedding x
i think your bf needs sitting down and talking too, you are not going to get through life not seeing a male dr, eg:during childbirth (most dr s are male), does this mean you can never go topless on the beach!!!!!! i had mine done with mr traynor and he had total respect for my body, and has suited my surgery to my own needs not just another slab on the table!!!!! if he is that jealous now what he going to be like when u look even better in your bikini on your honeymoon. just have them done and take a close family member with you
he’s okay with me wearing revealing clothes its the touching part he does not like lol
he’s really immature, i told him about how male DRs are better and wouldn’t he want me to get the best but he’s like women are as good too.
i’m thinking of taking him to one of the consultations so he can see why i want to go with MYA.i will have another chat with him
thank you for the comments! 🙂
Hi
My husband said he needs to grow up! Lol. At the end of the day he is doing a job that he does many times a day! Not there to touch you up or look at you in a sexual manor. He is a professional. I would definitely have another chat with him. You need to do what is best for you!

HI
i realy think you should go with who ever suiets you, this is surgery your talking about and i think he should be spending more time helping you get the best surgon weather its male or female. I had Mr Traynor and he was fab , surgons see that meny boobs i bet they are sick of looking at them .as this is your body and your are going through all the stress of ba i dont think he should have a say on what sergon does it .congratulations on your weddingxx
hi hun, I think what you said about taking him along to the consultation is a really good idea, he’s probably got allsorts going through his mind but once he see’s how professional the surgeon is and how clinical and ‘non-sexual’ it all is, I think he will see sense and probably feel a bit silly for over-reacting.
Rio x
Dutty09 you are right he does need to grow up, we made an appointment with Transform for the 21st so lets see how that goes.
and i will call my PC Nadja frm MYA and ask to be seen again with my boyfriend.
i just need to make him see things from my point of view.
Hi Dinky,
I don’t mean to sound like I am prying when I say this to you, but who is paying? If he is paying, then obviously will be harder. But if you are funding this by your own means, then to be fair, it’s not up to him. At the end of the day. Despite what he may say it is YOUR body and you will do with it as you please! If that means a male surgeon, then so be it. I had Dr Chantasarak to do my tummy tuck and they had my bits exposed, but I was not worried and nor was my husband. I don’t understand why your partner feels this way!
Claire x
Hi dinkydoo,
I think that if you have him there for the consultation (when you have to have your top off in front of the surgeon) and then again when you are in the hospital having the surgeon draw on you then he will feel alot better about it. I mean its not like they ‘touch you’ that much anyways. The only contact Mr Traynor had with me (whilst i was awake) was to show me where the incisions would be and then the pen touched my skin…thats it! It sounds to me that this might not be the problem, as i can’t believe that someone could be that insecure. Maybe your bf is a bit frightened at the thought of the operation, anything going wrong, or it changing you. Being there in your consultations will put him more at ease and make him feel more involved in it. ( It was probably something similar when you gave birth!) good luck at transform, but i seriously recommend going with the place that makes YOU comfortable at the end of the day.xx
First medical are a difficult company to get credit with. My husband fitted all of the criteria and was declined. This has happened to many others. Another lady who is a member of the forum had said her dad had good credit and was going to apply for her, but as she had bad credit, they declined it! So had pulled the application. I would strongly advise to look elsewhere. Not to First medical

:bigsmile:Hi Yana,
Overs are surpose to look more fake and sagg more then unders ,unders mean the mustle is holding the implant and you dont see the out line of the implant. However your surgon will explaine better then enyone else as in my option i think the slimmer you are the more they look fake .But thats just what i think,i got mine on the 14th july and i am pleased so far with them, he told me it was better for me to go under and i am glad i did .
If you listen to your surgon and take the advice offered you will be fine.
good luck with your ba kerryxx
I had Mr Traynor and he is fantastic very pleased ,i was a 32b and got 38cc i am now wearing 34dd sports bra .I Think when the swelling goes down i will be d cup,but i do hope i stay this size as i am five days post op now and loving the size lol .When is your op hun.
I have hared good things about your surgon so you will be fine what size do you wont to be ? xx kerry
