    Hi kristie

Congrtas on your new boobies, i had mine done on wednesday at highgate aswell, what did u think of the hopsital, i thought it was lovley, my mum said it looked more like a hotel then hospital…..

i have found it quite hard sleeping on my back but got my 1st nights propar sleep last night and i feel a bit better for it today. when i 1st woke up and got back to room i thought i was superwoman lol, i thought this is ok i was up by myself etc but then once all the anastetic wore off i felt it lol

im trying not to take as many painkillers now coz like u said it masks the damage and you think you are fine and over do it, i found that yesterday..i had visitors and i was maing them tea food etc and by time the evening came i felt it all kick in.

Take it easy and rest up, make every1 do everything for u heheh xx

    Hiya.

Congratualtions to you too. Yeah the hospital was very lovely and because i live in central london the peace and quiet was amazing. Yeah i am thinking that after a couple of nights sleeping on my back it is going to get hard and uncomfortable, do you know how long it is until we can change positions?

As for pain, i have just woken up from a nap and feel like i have been kicked in the ribs..ouch.You rest up too and enjoy

Yeah i had a room at the back by the gardens so it was well nice and peacful aswell…

Im not sure how long it is untill we can change positions i think its just when we feel comfotable, at the moment once im laying down im finding it hard to move myself up let alone to my side, so annoying though becuase iv never been able to sleep on my back…..

yesterday i had a little knap and whn i woke up i felt so bruised around my sides, i think when we relax too much as in when we sleep it all stiffens up thats why im trying to be a bit more active today but not 2 much obviousaly…

Im just very impatient adn want to see to final results asap lol xx

    Hi Nicki,
Firstly what size are you now? When i first had a try on with Dr Singh i was pretty sure i was going for he 380cc. I was very conservative about size given that i did not have much to start with and the bra he gave me to try i them on with was quite big, so they made the implants look bigger. However after a week i organised another appointment with him to re-assess size as having read the forums and hearing most girls saying they should have gone bigger i wanted to be happy with my size. I tried them on again with a smaller bra and def was set on having the 460cc. at the moment I think they are are a good size dd, but in a couple of weeks they will most likely go down to a D. So my advice is go bigger, then you wont regret all the pain and money afterwards. And like everyone says, even though they might measure bigger in a bra, they dont look that hge…so bigger is better, go 460cc.
Good luck, and I can let you know what size they are closer to your surgery date if you like.

    Hiya,
I do agree to go bigger having had 2 BA’s.I was 32a to start with had 340cc which made me a 32c/d. I had 2nd BA replaced with 700ccs brought me to a 32f ..however I reckon they will be an E when swelling has gone down. I am hoping they dont go down as I like the size they are. Its funny because my new implants have increased in circumference but not outwards. They fill under my arms more. I would have prefered outwards!! How are you liking the ”Shockabsober Bra” ..is it the 5 in 1 multiway??fab bra!!… Its so like a normal bra..great under vest tops..
PS. I put implants in to my bra for my first BA 10 years ago before having them done and I found it was not a true reflection how they look after…A 340cc in my bra over my 32as looked bigger than when I woke up!!. They always look bigger in my opionion when you try implants in your bra. emmax

    HI Emma,
I have had to take my sports bra off. Its only second day after surgery and all i am doing is lying around, but it felt too tight around my incision scars. I will probably put it back on tomorrow, but for the minute i am just lying around so not much movement..do you think i should put it back on?
I bought one from M&S at first and it was a mammoth hideous white piece of fabric and then I heard about the shock absorber and ordered one off the internet for

    Hiya Kristie,
Oh I know what you mean ..most sports bras are hideous …Bridgette Jones look..luuurvely in the bedromm hehe!!.Yes the shock absober has enabled me to wear my vest tops ,have a cleavage ,and look sexier in the bedroom! he he(no strenuous activity though!!). I think you should put the bra back on. Have you got the right size as i’m a 32 back but the shock absorbers run small and I have a 34f which is fine on the back? Oh my …when I had a bath today and took the bra off my boobs were soooo heavy..much prefered having a shower(quicker, easier). You must wear the bra its not just about support but to do with the healing, shape etc…I know its a pain and 6 weeks is a life’s sentence but try to put it back on if you can:bigsmile: I kept moving ..i found the pain was worse when I stopped moving. The things we do for vanity..worth it though!! emmaxx

Hi ladies! Thanks for all of the info above – as you know Emma I have my BA at Highgate this Friday with Mr Singh – I also wanted to be a D and Mr Singh recommended 380cc…hope I’ll be happy with the size….but then having even larger implants will increase the circumference which I really don’t want! Oh decisions, decisions! x

In reply to: Morning After my BA with Dr Singh…

    Hi fiona,
Its sooo hard to know which size to choose. The 340ccs on me gave me a C/D cup. It was only after having my baby in 2007 that my boobs seemed to increase to a D and I no longer fitted the C cup bras. There is not a great deal of difference in a 340 and a 380 (125cc I think? is classed as 1 cup size). Have you looked at the 400cc it may be worth comparing the 380 and the 400cc just to see if there is big difference in size. Mr singh brought 2 sizes for me a 615cc and 700cc I said on the day of the op that I wanted the bigger one if he could fit it in!! Good luck for friday emmaxx

    Hi

I had my BA on wednesday and have been having the same problem….last night was the 1st night i slept right through! im use to sleeping on my side also and kept waking up in the night on my back. Last night i propped my pillows up loads and waited untill i was in bed ready to sleep untill i took my last lot of painkillers, they make me quite drowsey so they managed to work and i slept all through!

do u sleep with your sports bra on? xx

Can I ask if you kept your sports bra on, straight after your sugery? I put mine on when i left the hospital, howver took it off the following morning as i felt that it was rubbing on my incision cuts. I will prob put it back on in a couple of days, but just wandering if this may be a bad thing. I have on ly had 460cc, although they do feel heavy it is on ly my first day after BA and all im doing is laying around..

    Hiya,
Keep the bra on day and night..also I put on straight after surgery as the nurse made sure I did. Its a pain i know .. you may need to buy a bigger back bra??. I am wearing 34 back bras when I’m normally a 32 as its more comfortable. It does rub a bit on the incisions but just pull it down a bit. You must support implants for medical reasons. 3 weeks on and the sports bras have stopped rubbing still a bit sore now and again but doooont take that bra off. emmaxx

I found sleeping on my side easier but after the implants settled down. Unfortunately havent slept now for over 2 weeks properly after 2nd bA as still having to sleep on my back with the new Implants and I keep waking up.:cry:Emmaxx

I have to wait untill october until i have it done tho. im so bloody inpatient its unreal lol. Ive been doing the rice test, its so unbelievable the amount of difference the back size of a bra makes to the cup. i tried on a 36f and loved it but im not a 36 im a 34 and 34f looks much smaller. i think im going to be looking at 34g lol. Also emma , i know u did it gradually but going from an ‘a’ to an ‘f’ cup, have you got stretch marks? some body said that to me the other day and i hadnt really thought about it until then…. Emi x

    Hi ya
I went out a couple of day’s after my op and was fine,i then had a big night planned for 2 wks after and mr kazzazi said i was ok to wear a normal bra just for the evening but to put the sports bra on soon as i got home. That was in march and it did’nt do them any harm.My surgeon said i could wear a bra on the odd night out because it would’nt make a difference and this i did on a few occasions.I had 505cc overs and my boob’s are now a 32ff.
    Hope this helps

    Hello Charlie ,
I have just been reading your story and it has made me feel at ease a little .I am getting ba on 14th july with Mr Traynor and i am soooooo naervous about the whole thing .are you happy with the size now ,and what size were you to start off with.I am a 32 b now and hpoe to get to a d or dd will be great . Iam only 5,2 and size 10 so i hope they look ok .I am getting ba because i have loose skin due to weight loss so hope i will be pleased with the result .I have chosen 38cc over and not sure if to ask for 410cc in case i am dissapointed with size .

Also was the op and being put to sleep as bad as you thought as i have been putting this back for a long time .

    Hi kellg

Trust me i was beyond nervous, i felt sick when i was waiting…..but as soon as i saw my surgeon i was put back to ease…..I am happy with the size but its a little hard to judge what size they are now as they are still swollen…..and still quite high also….id say they are around a DD at the moment so after swelling i think they might be a D. I started at 32b also u can also ask them to order both sizes and on the day just talk through it with your surgeon.

Being put to sleep i didnt really think about 2 much to be honest as i have been out to sleep before but it was all very quick, i just went into the anasthetic room they put the needle in and put a mask on my face and that was it, you dont even have time to think about much….honeslty its that quick and the next thing u no your waking up in recovery with new boobies. Honeslty try not to work yourself up about being out to sleep and the op becuase once your asleep you dont even no what is happening. Ypou also get looked after so welll…r u going to highbury?? xxx

    hey,
i just had my sugery with mr kazzazi on tuesday and he is a lovely man, i couldnt be happier with the surgery, i was a 36A after weightloss and wanted my larger fuller breasts back, so i went for the under 525cc’s! lol (i wanted my moneys worth haha).
at the end of the day it is what YOU want, if you dont want the size he is offering tell him, despite him being a Dr, he is being paid to please you and if you dont want whet he is suggesting you shouldnt feel preasured into geting them. search pictures on google to get a general idea of how they will look afterwards.

hope you get what you want and all goes well, if you are down in doncaster for it the staff are lovely and the anesthesiologist is a hoot =D

Hey, i had my BA in doncaster on monday with kazzazi and i thought he was great too :) he’s done a good job and he asked if i had any questions the morning before surgery n checked i was OK after. If you told him you only wanted to look slightly fuller then i don’t see why he wouldn’t let you get smaller ones? I started off as a 32aa and didn’t want them to look daft afterwards so only got 340cc in each, and he wouldnt let me go any bigger anyway! I’m wondering if the only reason he’s suggested bigger implants is to make sure it totally fills out all the tissue u already have? Did you ask if he would let u go smaller? It should be up to you at the end of the day.

The anaesthetist I had in doncaster was hilarious as well, he was making fun of me right up until i went to sleep for asking for magic cream on my hand haha, was probably the same guy! xx

    hey,
i just had my surgery on tuesday and although its early days my leaft breast is also noticably bigger than the right, it has also been the most painful.
hopefully it is just taking that little bit longer to settle but if you are still not happy go back to your consultant and see if there is anything they can do if its excess fluid or something.
hope all goes well and in another 5weeks time i bet you’ll be loving them both, all we need now is some sun to show them off in =D

healing pretty well, i felt great after the initial op, was full of energy, thank the lord for drugs eh? hahah, apart from the majority of the pain being on the left hnd side its all ok (touch wood)
i had Kazzazi down in doncaster, he was lovely, man of few words tho =D
before my op i was a wee bit lopsided but obviously going bigger would make it more noticable, but when you think of it, it will only be us who notice it, no one else will be scrutanising our breasts as much as we do.
im sick of sports bras already, iv bought 6 in various sizes coz im not sure what ill be, but iv been told it will morethan likeliy be D cup.
and as for the sun, it can stay hidden whilst i heal lol, its an excuse to wear hiddious large tops,
haha and also my partner is going away to a motorbike rally this weekend so i hope it rains (that will teach him to leave me on my bill when i need things doing for me hahaha! im shocking i know)
