i text my PC today but was wondering if i should have phoned?? do you think she will reply to text?xx
TBH i text mine the other week and still haven’t got a reply. was thinking same thing hun xx they seem interested in us b4 we pay deposit and once thats paid from what i have read on here they seem to have faded away and have no interest.
i felt the same and as i was being constantly ignored, i had to complain to the area manager and then they started replying straight away xx
Don’t get me started on this. Mine never replies (oh she did once to try and get me to pay my deposit)!!!! Thank god I haven’t as Im now thinking of going elsewhere! It worries me that if they can’t reply now once they hav eour money they definately won’t and that’s not good when you are relying on good aftercare etc. Rant over, sorry but Im quite upset at the mo! x
Yeah I agree girls soon as I paid my money I didn’t hear off mine! Still haven’t! Everytime I ring she’s on leave! Haven’t heard off nurse today either she said she’d call me after surgery…

there seems to be a very big problem with comunication at mya
i can never get hold of my pc, she always say she will ring me and never does.
now the date she booked me (for this thursday) they have told me (TODAY) is unavailable and shes now away for 2 weeks – very helpfull not!!
does any1 know how to make a complaint with someone higher up?

Thats bad that you never got a call after surgery i bet the moderator will answer you if you message her,and tell her whats happening ill be surprised if she dosent.xx
I’ve not heard a thing since I had mine Nurse supposed to ring day after to check never happened and never heard from my PC again after paying full balance last time I heard from her was asking for money pretty crap really but then again they’re pretty much all same
yeah my first pc text me all the time she was great, the new one…not so great! 
also im now 7 weeks post op and not had a call off any1 after my surgery or at least a month b4 since my old pc left, she was great. i had a call once a few weeks ago coz id ranted on here n sum1 saw it, i missed the call n she left a voicemail, since then nothing. emailed a few times to change appointments, confirm the right implants sizes were oreder etcn never heard anything. from wot i can gather manchester seems to be the worst in all of this
they shud employ me i need a new job haha!!
well i havent paid deposit yet,thats why i text my PC, because i wanted to know what surgeons i could see because i want my next consultation. if it is as bad as everyone is saying then im thinking i might look elsewhere, i think MYA are slightly higher priced than some better known companies and the reason i came to them was because i heard they actually cared about their patients but now im thinking im not paying the extra if they arent any better than the rest. if they wont reply now then i certainly wont hear from them when ive given them money. Hopefully the MYA moderator will see this and shed some light on why this supposedly excellent caring company are seemingly going downhill as far as patient and PC communications are concerned xx
I must say my pc is fab! She replied to all my texts and I texted her loads with every little worry or question. She checked on me before surgery, called me the day after surgery. It’s a shame – it must depend on who you get xx
yea my pc is at manchester, i choose them because they seemed realy helpfull and understanding etc, but as soon as i paid – nothing!
my bf wants me to just get my money back and go somewhere else if they dont do my op this week as they have messed me about so much. then ill be gutted tho cos i wil have to wait for ages before i can get time off work again.

they do!! i have a lovely pc, i have had a reply after every text i have sent her!!! n believe me i sent loads, she rang me before and after my surgery!!

They need to be more consistant as my comunication with them has beensoooo good, pc always txts back/calls back….nurse called me da after opp and whenever ive lft messages they get straight back.
Its a shame they cant keep this up with everyone because they’re letting themselves down! xx
i wonder if some clinics are better than others? all you girls who have had good PCs where did you go??xx
I went to the Glasgow Clinic and my PC Karen was fab. She even picked up jacket up for me at the hospital as I forgot it. Got it at my one week check.
Whenever I’ve text, she’s been there.
Hope you get your problems solved girls. I’m sure they’d appreciate your feedback. Call them and ask for a customer comments form? That way it’s not just on the forum, it’s going somewhere.

im glad i started this thread as i think it shows that its not MYA as a company, maybe some PCs are just more organised than others, and it also highlights things that they could be improving on xx

I had one who was great, she got back to me usually the same day but when she left my new one never got back to me so I complained to mya mod and now have a new one, I think she is also the London clinic manager, she’s been great, she always gets back to me xx

It should be highlighted that customers are not happy with particular PC’s
If you’re not happy with your PC you are able to change. Discuss that with the Clinic Manager.

my PC is called hollie!i had her at the st albans clinic and she is the 1 i text and ddidnt get a reply from (to be fair i only text 2day so maybe she been busy but i still havent heard from since 1st consultation in february) xx

It’s not good, it doesn’t take much to reply to a text when we are all stressing so much about it all, i even got told that it was best to contact my pc by text and then she never replied within a decent timeframe.

Kayleigh in Manchester, i’ve not heard from her or my nurse at all and i’m 4 days post op. She got better after i complained to the head office.
They also didn’t give me a breast uplift pre op sheet, but gave me the ones for BAs only, the nurse forgot to take my blood and after driving all the way back to Macc from Manchester, they phoned my husband and said i had to drive all the way back in (15 miles) to get my bloods taken again, my PC told me the total price for my op and then at the last minute said she’d got it wrong and increased it by £350 for the upgrade on the implants she forgot about, i complained and got that written off. I’ve been focussing on the surgeon and trying to block out the totally crap customer service xx
what a nightmare!! i hope the moderator reads all of these posts xx
